5-WELL PLUG DRILL-OUT CAMPAIGN IN VACA MUERTA Our team in Argentina recently completed a plug drill-out campaign across a five-well pad in Vaca Muerta for a major operator, with SLB providing coiled tubing services. In just nine days of operations, the team completed the plug drill-out scope across all five wells, drilling out 275 plugs and reaching approximately 6,400 m TD per well while maintaining consistent performance across the pad. The campaign was executed using a combination of 2.88-in and 3.13-in BHAs running our latest Extended Reach Technology configuration and the STEGO Multi-Cycle Valve. STEGO enables maximum flow rate during short trips and is hydraulically activated without requiring ball drops, helping make the operation faster and safer. Our team in Argentina completed a plug drill-out operation on a 4-well pad in Vaca Muerta for a major operator, with Tenaris as the Coiled Tubing service provider. Across the four wells, the team drilled out over 140 plugs, reaching an average TD of approximately 6,300 m per well. The operation was executed with a 2.88” BHA, integrating the TRX motor, RAPTOR ERT, and the STEGO multicycle valve. The STEGO multicycle valve allowed the team to circulate at flow rates up to 25% higher during two 1,000 m short trips per well, improving hole cleaning and helping carry solids back to surface. CUSTOM-MADE 5 1/8” 10K COILED TUBING HANGER FOR GAS LIFT Our team in Colombia successfully installed a custom-made concentric Coiled Tubing Hanger for gas lift in the Piedemonte Llanero region. Manufactured by Proshale Argentina for a major operator, the hanger was engineered to interface with a 5 1/8” wellhead configuration rated to 10,000 psi working pressure. The project integrated engineering, manufacturing, and field execution, with the Argentina and Colombia teams working together from development through installation. The CT Hanger was installed in a well with 7” casing and a total depth of 15,162 ft. The gas lift system was deployed at 14,600 ft using a 2” coiled tubing string. This intervention helped improve production performance and extend the well’s productive life in a mature field affected by pressure decline. 6-WELL PAD PLUG DRILL-OUT IN VACA MUERTA Our team in Argentina completed a plug drill-out campaign on a 6-well pad in Vaca Muerta for a leading operator, in collaboration with the Superior Energy Services - Argentina Coiled Tubing team. Across the six wells, the team drilled out 310 plugs, reaching an average total depth of approximately 6,200 m. The operation was executed with a BHA combining 2 ⅞” and 3 ⅛” OD tools, including an Extended Reach Tool and the STEGO Multi Cycle Valve to help maintain effective weight transfer and cleanout performance throughout the campaign. The team also reduced well-to-well transition time by nearly one hour, improving operational continuity across the pad. FISHING AND PLUG DRILL-OUT ON A 3-WELL PAD Our team in Argentina, in collaboration with SLB, completed a fishing and plug drill-out operation on a 3-well pad using 2 ⅜” coiled tubing. Operational sequence: • Recovery of a Wireline BHA with live perforating guns at 3,314 m. • Cleanout across the three wells, removing 135 plugs to approximate TDs of 5,750 m, featuring PROSHALE’s TRX Downhole Motor, RAPTOR ERT, and STEGO Multicycle Valve. The intervention required detailed planning, with specific configurations designed to recover the Wireline BHA, restore wellbore access, and continue the planned cleanout sequence across the pad.
