What happens after a bloom treatment matters just as much as the treatment itself. We are focused on Multi-barrier Phosphorus Control. The Shock N Lock™ approach combines two critical steps: ✓ Reduce active cyanobacteria with peroxide-based treatment ✓ Permanently bind phosphorus with Phoslock® Because managing today's problem is only half the solution. Preventing the next one is where long-term water quality management begins. Call us today to learn how Shock N Lock™ works at (888) 571-0170

About us
Phoslock Environmental Technologies (PET) was established in 2002 and provides innovative water technologies and engineering solutions to manage nutrients and other water pollutants. Our international community of scientists and water specialists strive for cleaner water through the use of innovative technologies. PET’s flagship product, Phoslock®, was originally developed by the Australian national science agency (CSIRO). Phoslock® is a proprietary and unique water treatment product that permanently binds excess phosphorus in the water column and s and enables it to settle in an environmentally benign state. It has been applied to more than 300 water bodies worldwide, reducing in-lake phosphorus concentrations in more than 20 countries. Thoroughly independently scientifically researched over the past 25 years, all toxicological evaluations have found that Phoslock is safe for both humans and aquatic biota. Phosflow™ is an eco-friendly and effective product that safely removes phosphorus from freshwater sources including stormwater, agricultural runoff, and municipal wastewater. PET is an international business with the focus on providing a multifaceted solution for water remediation and driving future growth of the company.

Another day protecting water quality. We got to spend some time with our friends in Colorado to help be part of an application. Our team spends time with applicators in boats, on shorelines, and in the field because that's where the real work happens. We believe the application is just as important as the product. Science matters. But seeing results firsthand never gets old. That's how we can better serve our customers. Learn more about the Phoslock difference at phoslockusa.com

This Independence Day, lakes across the country will be filled with families, friends, and memories being made on the water. Protecting those experiences takes year-round stewardship. Phoslock helps lake managers address phosphorus at its source, supporting healthier, more resilient waterbodies for the communities that enjoy them today and for years to come. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July from the Phoslock USA team. Learn more at phoslockusa.com

Serious science. Real people. Good days in the field. At Phoslock, water quality work doesn’t just happen behind a desk. It happens on the water, in the field, and alongside the applicators doing the work. Our team can be hands-on during applications because understanding the site, the equipment, and the moment matters. We believe good outcomes start with good partnerships and yes, enjoying the work along the way doesn’t hurt. phoslockusa.com

Lake managers are actively addressing harmful algae blooms using innovative methods. One effective strategy is BioSafe Systems "Shock" approach, which has shown promising results. Additionally, some lakes are opting for the Phoslock Environmental Technologies "Lock" method to reduce nutrient loading. When these two methods are combined in the "Shock and Lock" program, the results are not only effective but also rapid. This integrated approach highlights the importance of utilizing advanced techniques in lake management to combat environmental challenges. Technical leadership provided by ClearChannelVM for our customers and water resource stakeholders alike.

At Phoslock USA, we understand that effective water quality management goes far beyond supplying a product—it requires the right strategy, technical insight, and ongoing support to ensure success in the field. That’s why we work closely with our applictors and clients. We help customers: • Evaluate site-specific conditions and treatment goals • Develop application plans tailored to sediment chemistry and waterbody dynamics • Optimize dosing strategies for maximum phosphorus binding efficiency • Interpret monitoring data and adjust approaches as needed Our goal is simple: to make sure each project delivers measurable, lasting improvements in water quality. #phoslockusa View our case studies phoslockusa.com

No two waterbodies behave the same. Neither should treatment. Phoslock applications are tailored by site conditions, loading dynamics, and management goals. We can suggest one-time resets to staged treatments with monitoring from applicators who are Phoslock experts all across the country. Talk with our team → phoslockusa.com #Phoslockusa.com

This week, a client successfully applied 35,000 lbs of #Phoslock in a Colorado lake. The demand for effective solutions continues to grow. Interestingly, our customer had previously tried another technology but returned to our original formulation, as it was the only solution that delivered lasting results after switching. Lock it up! #phoslockusa

Back in Seattle, WA for round two of restoring tribal waters with #Phoslock and Andrew Z Skibo, PhD CLM . This marks the first time in recorded history that there hasn’t been a bloom by June. #phoslockusa

Application season isn’t just about applying product. It’s about applying it at the right moment. Fall, spring, and early summer are when phosphorus control decisions have the greatest leverage in most lakes and reservoirs because, as temperatures rise and bottom lake conditions change, internal phosphorus becomes bioavailable, timing matters. Phoslock is deployed as a slurry using lake water, binding phosphorus through the water column before settling into sediments for long-term permanent control. That’s how timing turns into results. It's not locked, unless it's Phoslock'd! phoslockusa.com
