  • Great addition to the Perry team this week!

We're super excited to have Mukkund Sunjii G. join the Perry team as sr. engineer! Mukkund is from South India, he has a masters in applied mathematics from Delft University and previously worked at Ortec and Shine. When we do people selection, we spend a lot of time trying to understand if people could be a fit to the team. Mukkund joined us for 2 whole days in the office to check if he was a fit with the team (I mean: this is a two-way street). In those days, he shipped two new features and proved to be an amazing fit to the team.

  • Give a superpower to your operators with AI photo validation in Perry!

You need to catch mistakes before the operator team leaves the site. Perfect execution. Every time. 📸 Excited to share we've launched automatic photo validation in Perry. And it gets better: it works out of the box and it doesn't require set-up. -> Step 1: ✍ Create an operator instruction with Perry AI with a document or prompt -> Step 2: 📱 Share it with your operators -> Step 3: 🏁 THERE IS NO STEP 3

  • New product updates!

🥳 Our edit agents are live! When we launched, we had: - Procedure creation with AI (from a prompt or a document) - Manual edit capabilities to change text, images, checklists, etc. From now on, our editor has become much more conversational, allowing you to change the structure, add verifications and checklists or even translate everything to Polish.

2025 has been an incredible year for us. Just 9 months ago, Perry was nothing more than an idea and we ended the year with a team, customers and a company. Just to share a few successes over the past year: 🏆 Getting 1.6m in funding by Revent and our angels from OpenAI and Google Deepmind was a dream come true. 🎯 Launching the brand and being featured in de Volkskrant, AD and being able to pitch on BNR Nieuwsradio. ✅ Getting the trust of Ralph Peeters MBA and Ad Klop at Van Vulpen as our design partner and first customer when all we had was a slide deck. 👤 Hiring a team that shares our values and ambition. I vividly remember our first meeting with Pim Verschuuren in a cafe in Utrecht before there was a logo, a website or an office.  🚀 Launching our product and getting the first users. However, there’s a lot that goes into this that is far more invisible: ⛔ How humbling it is to be rejected so many times. You are trying to sell a product that -especially initially- mostly exists in our minds. I’ve had many many meetings where you can see it all over the other person’s face: “I don’t get it” or “this is way too early for us”. 🧱How hard you need to work to will this into existence. The night before an important customer demo, the product didn’t work yet. My co-founder Laurens Feenstra had the flu and was working deep into the night despite having almost 40c fever, with Pim and me waking up at 4.30AM to take over the work ahead of the 10 AM demo. We made it work. Barely. 🔁 Many things you would never think about when you start: - Getting our first cyber attack attempts - Pitching to a famous investor and hearing “Ok cool, but tell me about your personal traumas” - to then being ghosted. I guess my traumas weren’t “investable”? - Being called to be on a TV-show and getting canceled at the last minute. We are looking forward to continue on this incredible journey in 2026 with all the people that build with us and support us. • Launching our white paper today! AI in operations - Five Myths That Keep You From Doubling Your Profits Written by our founders Arie Kuiper and Laurens Feenstra 🚀

🚀 Today we’re launching our new white paper: AI in Operations – Five Myths That Keep You From Doubling Your Profits 💬 In our conversations with 50+ operational leaders, we’ve seen five common myths about AI in operations that almost guarantee failure: Myth 1 🤖 If it works in ChatGPT, it works for me. ➡️ Consumer AI is not the same as operational AI. Data, reliability, and safety matter. Myth 2 🛠️ Give people a hammer and they’ll find a nail. ➡️ Exploration is great, but impact needs knowledge, strategy & iteration. Myth 3 🎬 If it works in a demo, we’re almost ready. ➡️ Demos show potential, but the real value lives inside work processes and integrated software. Myth 4 👷♀️ When operators see it, they will use it. ➡️ Trust and usability make or break adoption. Myth 5 💡 (Bonus) My business model will stay the same. ➡️ Once AI takes root, the business itself should evolve. 📘 We’ve bundled these reflections (and how to overcome them) in our new white paper, written for anyone moving from AI hype to actual impact. And yes, we use AI to augment, but this white paper was written with real (human) hands on keyboards. To be precise: my hands and those of Laurens Feenstra. Special thanks to Gijs Hulscher for input & review. 💬 Leave “Perry” in the comments and we’ll share the PDF with you! And pulling back the founder curtain just a bit: This one was written in those early morning hours when the world is quiet and focus comes easy. 🌅☕ #AI #DigitalTransformation #Operations #Leadership #Perry

  • Welcome to the team!! 🚀🥳🚀

We’re thrilled to announce that Efraim Dahl joins the early team at Perry starting today! We hire people that are not only really smart, but also bring a level of creativity and unique perspectives to the team. Efraim comes to us after graduating cum laude in Artificial Intelligence from Utrecht University. As an avid music lover, his thesis on music generation showcased his ability to merge creativity with cutting-edge AI research, turning complex theory into tangible outputs. Now at Perry, he is turning his attention from music to mechanics, building AI agents for the energy transition. We're proud of the excellent team we're building at Perry. When we started, Arie Kuiper and I had a vision of building a small team of exceptional talent, and with people like Efraim Dahl, Bente Bak, and Pim Verschuuren, we're well on the way. In now 6 months of building Perry, we're live with our first customer, and have built two agentic products that simplify the lives of technical operators. Welcome Efraim to the team! Here’s to the next chapter at Perry!

I’m at Field Service Europe in Amsterdam this week: one of the largest conferences on Field Service operations. 🧠 AI is everywhere at the conference, and it’s clear we’re at the start of a real revolution. The last decade was about digitizing work, the next decade is about AI enablement. 👷♂️ However, I couldn’t help noticing what’s missing in the presentations: the operator. In all the talk about AI, the operator, the person doing the work, is rarely the topic of discussion. 📢 And yet, every field service leader I speak with tells me the following: Buying the cool software is the easy part. Now they need to get 500 people to use it. 🚀 At Perry, we believe you cannot build awesome AI software without operators as your development partners. The real impact happens when technology makes their lives easier first and foremost. It is your right to play in a real AI transformation. #fieldserviceeurope #AI

2️⃣ Vertrouwen is cruciaal. 💡 In the high-tech industry, creating and managing work instructions at scale is one of the hardest challenges, especially for companies balancing creating highly specialized products with efficient production. That’s why it was such a pleasure to be invited by Brainport Industries, a network of 100+ innovative high-tech companies, to share how our AI-generated work instruction software Perry is tackling this problem. It was great to be able to show what we've created, as we've recently put our first software in production, achieving 90% first time right instructions in our pilot. How are you balancing the need between flexibility and efficiency in operations? Thanks to everyone for the great discussions, and to Florence Bongers-Rijnders for the invitation.
