After an hour-long outrigger journey from the black volcanic sands of Dauin, we stepped onto Apo Island and were immediately adorned with colorful wooden bead leis featuring hand-carved turtle, a tribute to the Green Sea and Hawksbill sanctuary. In most places, a lei is the welcome. But in Apo, it was just the beginning. The real magic started when the locals in their stunning traditional attire treated us with a vibrant welcome dance right on the shore! This was the most incredible island greeting I've ever experienced!!🏝️ Thank you, Apo, for welcoming us in your island with unforgettable hospitality and amazing energy!!
