Changing the way companies buy.

About us

Opstream is an agentic orchestration platform that unifies data to automate vendor onboarding, compliance, and spend control. Opstream replaces fragmented procurement workflows with a single platform where every stakeholder (finance, legal, compliance, security, IT, and operations) works from the same harmonized data, in the same system, with full visibility into every decision. Businesses run procurement across disconnected tools. Approvals live in email, compliance reviews happen in sequence, vendor onboarding stalls between handoffs, and no one has a complete audit trail. Opstream eliminates this by capturing structured data at the point of intake and connecting it through approvals, purchase orders, invoices, vendor management, and payment, all on a shared data model.

Workflow Spotlight: Intake & Orchestration — where every procurement request begins We're kicking off a new series spotlighting the companies building across the AI procurement landscape. Quick note on how it works: ProcurementAI organizes the market into 8 workflows across the procurement lifecycle — this post covers one of them, Intake & Orchestration. Since this workflow alone includes dozens of companies, each post features one batch at a time. No rankings, no endorsements — just a structured view of who's building where. Intake & Orchestration is the front door of procurement: where requests are captured, guided through policy, routed to approvers, and orchestrated across downstream tools. Get this layer right, and everything after it moves faster and stays compliant. Here's our first batch, in no particular order 👇 🔹 Pivot — AI operating system for procurement, automating workflows with full spend visibility. 🔹 Spendflo — AI-native intake-to-procure platform centralizing vendors, contracts and approvals. 🔹 Tonkean — Process orchestration for the intake, triage and resolution of every request. 🔹 ORO Labs — Agentic procurement orchestration focused on effortless, no-code experiences. 🔹 Opstream — AI-powered orchestration with self-service workflows and duplicate-purchase prevention. 🔹 Omnea — AI-native platform with conversational requests and tailored approver experiences. 🔹 Levelpath — AI-native, mobile-first platform for indirect spend, powered by its Hyperbridge engine. 🔹 Focal Point — An orchestration layer that sits on top of existing systems, no-code. 🔹 ConvergentIS — Enterprise orchestration built on its AI-powered Rio platform. 🔹 Approve.com (A Tipalti company) — Simple, customizable procurement and approval workflows (a Tipalti company). One pattern across this workflow: teams are using conversational interfaces and AI-driven routing to turn messy, unstructured requests into structured demand — without adding manual load. This is just the beginning. More companies in this workflow, and across the other 7, are coming soon. Follow along to see the full picture take shape. 👉 Explore this workflow: https://lnkd.in/gmfZtV5n 👉 Building here and not listed? • Two days at DPW New York. Hundreds of conversations. One question kept coming up: "How do we stop layering AI on top of broken processes?" That was the #RECODE theme. It's exactly what we built Opstream to solve. The Opstream team showed what happens when AI runs on a unified data layer. Agentic workflows that take action, not just send notifications. What we heard over and over: 1. Disconnected systems with no shared data model 2. Approval chains that break when scope or price changes 3. Contract reviews stuck in legal backlogs for weeks All three disappeared in our live demo. On screen, in real time. Our Tech Safari session on Intake & Orchestration confirmed what we've been saying: "one front door for every procurement category" resonates. Especially when your current front door is Slack, email and a spreadsheet. Thank you to the DPW team for an incredible two days in Brooklyn. To everyone who stopped by Booth 19, let's keep the conversation going 🤝 opstream.ai #Procurement #ProcureTech #ProcurementOps #AI #VendorManagement

  • Catch us til the end of the #DPWNYC show at booth 19! Our CEO and Founder Lihi will be there along with Doug Daniels and Tim Schwab. Let us show you why our data-first, AI-second approach to agentic procurement operations stands out in a sea of "AI-native" solution providers.

Yesterday I sat for an interview with CPOstrategy to talk about what happens when #procurement teams stop being gatekeepers and start being the ones who actually accelerate the business...and how what we're building at Opstream supports this growth trajectory. The full interview is coming soon. I'll share it the moment it drops. But here's the one thing I'll say now: the CPOs I met this week at DPW NYC aren't asking "how do we get a seat at the table" anymore. They already have it. The question has changed completely. More on that soon.  📸 Waterfront interviews with the Williamsburg Bridge as a backdrop? Not a bad way to talk about the future of procurement. #DPWNYC #ProcureTech #CPOStrategy #Procurement #Opstream #RECODE

  • Today at #DPWNewYork, we're kicking off the Intake & Orchestration Tech Safari. Our customer illumifin will join us to share their experience with Opstream. No slides. No pitch deck. Just a real conversation about what procurement operations look like when the manual work goes away. The safari starts at 11:30 a.m. at Booth 19. We're presenting first. Doug Daniels, Tim Schwab, and our founder Lihi Lutan will be at the booth. Come say hello. opstream.ai #RECODE #Procurement #ProcureTech #VendorManagement

Last week Coupa acquired Tonkean. Big news for the procurement world. Here's what it actually means for most companies. Orchestration layers are genuinely powerful: a system-agnostic intake and orchestration layer that could sit on top of any procurement system. That's what makes it attractive to so many teams. You don’t need to be a Coupa shop to use it. That flexibility is now gone for Tonkean customers. If you're a mid-market company, Coupa was never built for you. And if you're an enterprise running SAP Ariba, you're not in Coupa's ecosystem either. Either way, Tonkean's best feature, its system-agnostic flexibility, just disappeared. This is exactly what Opstream is built for. We are system-agnostic by design. We sit on top of whatever you're running today, whether that's Ariba, NetSuite, or a home-grown stack. We bring agentic intake, intelligent orchestration, and procurement workflow automation to mid-market companies without requiring you to rip and replace your existing tech. And if you're one of the many teams currently evaluating a move away from Tonkean? We can support your transition, from mapping your existing workflows to getting you live on Opstream, so continuity isn't a question. The market just narrowed. Your options don't have to. Curious what this shift means for your procurement stack? Happy to talk. #Procurement #ProcurementTech #Tonkean #Coupa #Opstream #IntakeOrchestration #MidMarket

  • Most procurement teams don't have a technology problem. They have a wiring problem. Vendor data lives in the ERP. Contracts sit in the CLM. Compliance checks run through a separate tool. Budget approvals happen over email. None of these systems talk to each other without someone manually copying information between them. That's not a workflow. That's a workaround. One of the three pillars of this year's #RECODE theme at DPW New York is Rewiring: restructuring how work flows across teams, systems and partners. It's the pillar closest to what we do every day at Opstream. Come see what rewired operations actually look like. Booth 19, June 3-4. #DPWNewYork #ProcureTech #VendorManagement #Procurement

Nine G2 badges in a single quarter. Across two categories. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting that. G2 badges aren't something you can buy. They come from verified users sharing honest reviews. So when our customers gave Opstream nine badges for Summer 2026, it hit differently than any analyst recognition we've received. Here's what they recognized us for: Purchasing: High Performer, Easiest to Use Procurement Orchestration: High Performer, Best Meets Requirements, Best Support, Easiest to Do Business With, Easiest to Use, Highest User Adoption, Users Most Likely to Recommend The ones that mean the most to me? Highest User Adoption and Users Most Likely to Recommend. Because adoption is the real test. Anyone can sell software. Getting people to actually use it, then tell their peers to use it too, that's a different bar entirely. This comes on top of earning The Hackett Group Inc. 2026 Validated designation and being named to their 50 Providers to Watch list. Analyst validation and peer validation in the same quarter. To every customer who took time to leave a review: thank you 🙏 You're shaping what we build next. https://lnkd.in/eCBU6-Qg  #ProcureTech #Procurement #ProcurementOps #G2 #CustomerVoice

That's a wrap for Agentic AI in Procurement, San Francisco 2026! 🌉🤖 What a room. What a conversation. From AI agents rewriting sourcing workflows to the hard questions around trust, governance, and what procurement leadership actually looks like in 2026. This community showed up and delivered. The energy in the room was proof that procurement is no longer waiting to be invited to the AI conversation. It's leading it. The calibre of thinking in that room was something else.
