One of the toughest parts of the licensing model is when partnerships end and you don’t have an answer for what’s next. That’s been Old Pal in Illinois the past few months. Off shelves and missing the market. Today that changes. Old Pal is back in Illinois and landing on shelves next week. We’re relaunching with Justice Grown and feel really good about how we’re coming back. Same great SKUs, with pricing, quality, and support that meet the market where it is. Big thank you to the team at The 1937 Group for helping us get into Illinois the first time. We appreciate you introducing us to the state. Eight years ago we started Old Pal with a pretty simple idea: cannabis should be easy, friendly, and sharable. My dog was young, my beard didn't have white in it, and we worked out of a Russian Grocery Store in West hollywood. Since then, this little brand has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined. Together with our partners and team, Old Pal products have generated over $150 Million in sales across the country. Millions of joints rolled, countless bags of flower shared, and a whole lot of good times created along the way. None of that happens without great people. Huge thank you to the Old Pal team past and present, who have poured their energy into this brand every day. To the operators and partners across the country who believed in us and brought Old Pal to life in their markets. And to the retailers and budtenders who put our products in people’s hands and told our story better than we ever could. Most importantly, thank you to the Pals who actually buy and enjoy the product. You’re the reason any of this works. Eight years in and it still feels like we’re just getting started. The cannabis industry has been anything but easy, but the opportunity ahead is still massive and I'm more excited than ever about where Old Pal is headed next.
