Everybody wants “next-gen patient experience.” But try making voice systems and health records talk to each other—and the facade falls apart. Most “integration guides” feel like they’re written by folks who’ve never used either system. Here’s what you get in reality: Agents bouncing between three screens just to say, “How can I help you today?” Callers frustrated, repeating their name, DOB, insurance, and appointment—over and over.
