Congratulations to Dr Eden Robertson and Associate Professor Anai Gonzalez-Cordero on receiving a Medical Research Future Fund Stem Cell Therapies Grant. This award recognises the team’s outstanding work in inherited retinal disease (IRD) community centered research. The grant will strengthen how we support the IRD community to understand emerging stem cell research in ophthalmology and what it means for patients and families. Together, Eden and Anai have published several key papers in this space demonstrating their continued leadership in shaping ethical, community centered approaches to stem cell and organoid research in Australia.
