🌍"The Sad Story of the Little Mouse”, the VR short film directed by Nicolas Bourniquel, has traveled across the world through numerous international festival selections. But what came next was something we didn’t anticipate. The film found a new life beyond individual VR experiences, transformed into a large-scale, three-wall projection, welcoming families and audiences into a shared, collective viewing. Presented at Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig, this new format turned an intimate story into a powerful emotional experience, watched together rather than alone. Over 50,000 spectators came to discover the film in this unique setting. A beautiful reminder that immersive storytelling can evolve in ways we never expect and sometimes, become even more moving when shared.

🚀 Join us at the Immersions Festival From March 31 to April 4, Mars: 2084 will be presented at the Immersions Festival, hosted at Carrefour Numérique² (Cité des sciences et de l'industrie). Originally created for Universcience’s exhibition Mission spatiale, Mars: 2084 explores how immersive environments can extend an experience beyond its physical space. In this interactive metaverse environment, visitors take part in a fictional space mission inspired by real scientific challenges. Through collaborative workshops, from rover piloting to space communication, participants explore key concepts of space exploration by experimenting and solving problems together. Beyond the museum context, projects like this illustrate how immersive worlds can become powerful tools to engage audiences, tell stories differently, and create experiences people actively participate in rather than simply watch. 📦 A faster way to create online listings EasyList is an R&D prototype designed to simplify how items are published on marketplaces like eBay. With a simple photo, the app analyzes the object and automatically generates a product listing. Using AI together with Apple’s Foundation Models framework, EasyList identifies the item, retrieves key information, and prepares a ready-to-publish listing in seconds. Built for iOS 26 and visionOS 26, the prototype explores how AI and spatial computing can simplify everyday tasks, turning object recognition into a practical tool for online selling. While demonstrated on Apple Vision Pro, this type of interaction also hints at what similar workflows could look like on the next generation of AI glasses and lightweight spatial devices, where capturing an object and generating information could happen directly from the user’s field of view.
