Real savings. 🏗️ We recently completed a No-Burn® Plus Spray Seal application on a residential building in East Boston. 🔥 Fire Protection — Spray-applied to standard OSB and lumber, it creates an equivalent alternative to fire-retardant treated wood (FRTW) per IBC Section 2303.2 (TER 2010-01). That means you can frame with standard lumber and skip the FRTW premium, the long lead times, and the allocation headaches. 💧 Weather barrier — performs as the water and air control layer (WRB) over sheathing, replacing building wraps and zip systems at 20–30% lower cost — with a tighter envelope (1.6 ACH50). For developers and GCs building wood-framed multifamily on tight urban lots — zero lot lines, 1-hour rated assemblies — this is a serious value-engineering play: one subcontractor, one mobilization, two scopes solved. Training today ..... Building better projects tomorrow! Last week’s sales travel through New England was time well spent—especially getting the chance to jump in at the tail end of a spray foam applicator training at Spray Foam Distributors of New England in Woodstock, New Hampshire. I had the opportunity to cover No-Burn, Inc. fire-resistive coatings and connect with a great group of applicators. The training itself was led by Kim Orr from Spray Foam Distributors of New England and Joseph Drapeau from Enverge Spray Foam—a strong example of distributor and manufacturer collaboration done right. It was impressive to see such a comprehensive program that combined both classroom instruction and hands-on spray booth training. That kind of well-rounded approach is what really helps applicators build confidence and skill in the field. I always value opportunities like this—partnering with distributors and manufacturer teams to support education and training across the industry. Looking forward to the next one.
