By supporting PDU session split and intelligent traffic distribution, it improves resource utilization, throughput, and service quality while providing greater flexibility at the RAN level. This video walks through the complete deployment of Static NR-DC using free5GC and the free-ran-ue project, making it easier to understand the architecture and reproduce the setup in a virtual lab environment. What does a first step toward AI-native RAN actually look like? This recent tutorial from Shankar Malik of NgKore Foundation explores the OCUDU-AI-Agent-Skills project and show how AI agents can begin integrating with the RAN stack. It’s an early but important step toward more intelligent, open, and programmable networks. ➡️ Watch now and see where open source RAN innovation is heading: https://lnkd.in/eDmaweds #OCUDU #OpenRAN #AINative #TelecomAI #OpenSource #RAN

The video demonstrates how AI Agent Skills can extend agent capabilities using the open Agent Skills specification, where reusable skill modules (defined using files like `SKILL.md`) provide structured instructions and tools that AI agents can load and execute automatically. This is not a full AI-native RAN implementation, but rather an experimental foundation showing how AI agents could interact with telecom infrastructure components and automate tasks in future intelligent networks. What you’ll learn in this video: - What AI Agent Skills are - How the OCUDU AI agent framework is structured - How skills can be installed and used by AI agents - How this approach can evolve toward AI-driven RAN systems Tutorial Video: https://lnkd.in/dkZZ3mta Repository: https://lnkd.in/dxQk6Vqt #AI #OpenRAN #5G #AI #Agents #TelecomAI #NetworkAutomation #6G #RAN OCUDU Ecosystem FoundationThe Linux Foundation srsRAN Project

𝗡𝗴𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 🇨🇳 NgKore Foundation presented on a problem that most observability teams deal with silently -- telemetry normalization. OpenTelemetry solved collection. But when 12 teams across 3 languages emit the same data with different attribute names (userId vs user_id vs uid vs enduser.id), your OpenSearch indexes explode, queries become nightmares, and cross-service correlation breaks. We asked a simple question at the conference: should there be a standard normalization layer between OTel Collectors and OpenSearch? 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 - 𝗬𝗘𝗦, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁. So we're building it. NgKore Foundation is starting an open source project to create a normalization processor for the OTel Collector - declarative YAML rules that transform messy telemetry into consistent, correlation-ready data before it hits your backend. As an Open Sounce Community we're always looking for contributors: If you are an Observability practitioners or OTel maintainers or OpenSearch users or someone simply interested and would love to help us with this initiative then DM us or comment if you want to get involved. Let's build this together. If you've ever written a Logstash filter or a Collector transform config just to rename attributes -- this project is for you. Thanks Khushi Chhillar for representing us at OpenSearch Con China #OpenSearch #OpenTelemetry #Observability #OpenSource #NgKore #CloudNative #Telemetry
