Safety first. Partnership always. 🤝 We recently brought together our supply chain partners across our South, Central and North East, Yorkshire and Scotland (NEYS) regions as part of a national rollout of NG Bailey's supply chain events. Centred around our Safety First & Foremost strategy, the sessions focused on the priority that matters most: making sure everyone goes home safely at the end of every day. Across the events, we explored the behaviours, standards and everyday choices that shape safe delivery, alongside updates on our Journey to 2030 business strategy, future pipeline, procurement, local supply chain, sustainability and social value. Powerful personal stories from guest speakers paul blanchard and Dylan Skelhorn (Safety Up and Ladder Locker) from SafetyUp brought the importance of safety into sharp focus, reminding us that one decision, one conversation or one challenge can make all the difference. We build strong, collaborative relationships with our supply chain partners. By engaging early, communicating openly and working in true partnership, we can deliver safer, stronger and more sustainable outcomes for our customers, communities and the wider industry. A huge thank you to everyone who attended, contributed to the discussions and helped deliver these events across our regional businesses. 🦺

Customer excellence doesn't happen by accident. It's built through every conversation, every decision and every interaction. As part of our ongoing partnership with British Land at Broadgate, our team recently came together for a dedicated Customer Excellence Workshop, investing in the behaviours, communication and mindset that help create exceptional experiences across one of London's leading commercial estates. The session brought customer excellence to life, helping our teams better understand customer expectations, strengthen communication, build trusted relationships and handle challenges with confidence. By exploring everything from adapting communication styles and improving service recovery to taking greater personal accountability, it reinforced how every role shapes the overall customer journey and represents the NG Bailey and British Land brands through the standards we deliver every day. Importantly, the workshop also focused on how our teams can positively influence occupier experience and engagement. Whether through proactive communication, creating positive day to day interactions, responding effectively to feedback or simply making it easier for occupiers to engage with the estate, every touchpoint contributes to how people experience Broadgate and the communities within it. Because maintaining a premium estate takes more than technical expertise. It takes people who understand the customer, actively contribute to occupier satisfaction, and recognise the impact they can make through every interaction. A huge thank you to everyone who took part and who continues to demonstrate the collaboration and commitment that make Broadgate a benchmark for customer experience, occupier engagement and service excellence.

All aboard the transition to cleaner, smarter transport. ⚡🔌 We’re taking a look at First Bus’s Hengrove depot, where NG Bailey acted as Principal Contractor to deliver a fully integrated EV charging solution and the largest, most ambitious gantry installation undertaken by First Bus to date. Built around five huge 70-metre overhead gantries, spanning 18 lanes wide, which is the equivalent of three motorways side by side, the infrastructure houses 77 gantry-mounted charging points, with 128 charging points across the depot in total. Delivered through major civils and MEP works, the project included power distribution, containment, site lighting, secure ANPR access control, AI CCTV, EV-specific line marking, three feeder panels, one RMU and three transformers. The result? A depot with the capability to charge up to 128 electric buses simultaneously, delivered on time while remaining 100% operational throughout, with zero disruption, no accidents and no incidents. Watch our film to see how we helped First Bus charge ahead with its fleet transition at Hengrove. 👇

Last week, over 110 colleagues from our Strategic Projects (Reading) team came together for a business update and team-building session. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, reflect on our achievements, and look ahead to the exciting projects that will help deliver our Journey to 2030 strategy. The team, which leads one of our most technically complex and high-profile projects, heard from senior leaders, alongside Family Non-Executive Directors, Claire East and Chris Bailey. They all shared valuable insights into our heritage, future ambitions, and what makes NG Bailey truly unique. Several key team members were celebrated, with congratulations going to Elliot Tate, Jordan Phillips, Mike Evans, Simeon Farnworth, Simon McMillan (all original NG Bailey apprentices), and Tina Clark for their outstanding contributions. Everybody enjoyed a trip down memory lane by welcoming back former colleagues who have played an important role in the successful delivery of our projects over the years. A warm welcome was also extended to our latest cohort of apprentices, who are due to join our Strategic Projects team this September. The day concluded with a range of engaging team-building activities that reinforced the importance of collaboration, communication, and teamwork. A raffle was also held, raising an incredible £1,360 (and counting) for CRASH - Construction Industry's Charity. A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a success. It was a great reminder of the talent, dedication, and team spirit that continue to drive this project forward to a strong, safe completion.

We're proud to celebrate our recent success at the Sellafield Major Projects 2026 Knowingly Safe Awards, with recognition in two award categories that showcase the strength of our safety culture, innovation and commitment to continuous improvement.🎉 Congratulations to our Sellafield Ltd Product and Residue Store Retreatment Plant team (SRP), working as part of the wider ADT partnership, on winning the Knowingly Safe Innovation Award for the development of an innovative Electrical Training Facility. The facility has transformed how electrical competence is developed by creating a first-of-its-kind training environment that allows apprentices, electricians and nominated persons to build skills before working on live construction activities. A special congratulations to Daniel Page, Senior Project Engineer and Rosie Harrison, Junior Project Manager, whose dedication was instrumental in bringing the facility into operation Rosie was also recognised individually with the Knowingly Safe Nuclear Safety Champion Award. Rosie has made a significant impact on strengthening nuclear safety culture. Recognising that behaviours, attitudes and values are at the heart of nuclear safety, she took the initiative to design and deliver NG Bailey’s first Nuclear Safety Culture Survey. Congratulations to Dan, Rosie, the SRP team, our colleagues across the site, and everyone recognised at this year's awards. 👏👏

Another award for Team NG Bailey ✈️🏆 We’re proud to have won the Impact in Transport Award at the NCE Awards last night, recognising our work on the Manchester Airport Transformation Programme. A live airport with more than 30 million passengers a year. Complex engineering. Tight logistics. Zero room for disruption. Our teams have helped support the creation of the UK’s first 'Super Terminal', delivering safely and collaboratively in one of the country’s busiest transport environments. But the real story is our people. The engineers, operatives, supervisors, planners, project teams and supply chain partners who brought skill, focus and resilience to every stage of delivery. This award is a brilliant recognition of their impact, and our long-standing expertise in delivering nationally significant transport infrastructure. Congratulations to everyone involved! 🎉

Yesterday, our Technical Facilities Services team joined British Land at the Broadgate Connect Career Fair, speaking to young people, students and future talent about the opportunities available across technical services. The event was a great example of what collaboration can create: a state-of-the-art campus full of opportunity, supported by a business offering careers full of possibility. For us, it was about more than showcasing vacancies. It was about opening up the industry through meaningful conversations, challenging perceptions of technical services, and highlighting the breadth of opportunities across engineering, maintenance, digital, compliance, energy management and operational support. As part of the Broadgate Connect programme, an employment and training partnership with ELBA connecting Broadgate businesses with diverse local talent, the event was a reminder of the role service partners can play in creating meaningful pathways into work and supporting East London residents through training, coaching, work placements and access to job opportunities. We’re proud to support a complex, high-performing estate like Broadgate with a team that continues to grow and evolve. From apprenticeships and upskilling to emerging digital roles and technical development, we’re investing in the people and skills that will help shape the future of our industry. A huge thank you to British Land, our Broadgate team and the other service partners for creating such a positive and engaging event. Because building better estates starts with building future talent! Rapport Guest Services I Wilson James I Principle Cleaning Services I JPC by Samsic I Recorra
