  • The Ministry of Digital has officially launched the Korea–ASEAN Digital Academy (KADA), a strategic government-to-government collaboration between Malaysia and the Republic of Korea to strengthen AI and digital talent development. Led by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) of the Republic of Korea, KADA is a regional initiative that leverages Korea’s expertise and advanced technologies to advance AI talent development across ASEAN. Coordinated by MDEC as the Strategic Local Partner, the programme will be implemented through our Premier Digital Tech Institutions (PDTIs), with UiTM FSKM appointed as Malaysia’s Host Institution. This is a strong testament to the quality and international recognition of our PDTI ecosystem in delivering world-class digital talent programmes. Over the next two years, KADA will develop approximately 200 industry-ready Malaysian AI and digital professionals through specialised training and international industry exposure. Beyond talent development, KADA strengthens regional collaboration while creating greater international opportunities for our PDTIs and providing Malaysian talent with access to world-class expertise and global best practices. May this programme pave the way for more strategic international collaborations, further elevating our PDTIs and nurturing the next generation of Malaysian digital talent. #MalaysiaDigital #KADA #AITalent #ASEAN #KementerianDigital #MalaysiaMADANI #KeArahNegaraAI2030
