This project includes a new inclusive playground, restroom building, picnic shelter, basketball court, multi purpose recreational field, more than 2,000 feet of paved trail, expanded parking, and new site amenities including benches, bike racks, and picnic tables. Our Downtown Pedestrian Alleyway Project in Maryville is substantially complete, including concrete paving, lighting, and landscaping. This project provides the community with a space to gather while beautifying downtown Maryville. We’re proud to be creating infrastructure that makes a lasting impact in communities.

Our annual ESOP meeting was a great opportunity to reflect on the past year and celebrate everything we've accomplished together as employee-owners. We were honored to welcome Royals broadcaster Joel Goldberg, who shared valuable insights on building trust and creating meaningful connections. We also recognized outstanding achievements across our company. Congratulations to Michael Newman and the WWTP 20 Sludge Thickening and Building Repair project team for earning Project of the Year for their work with the Unified Government of Wyandotte County. In honor of Brian Gordon's retirement, we introduced a new tradition: the "Act Like an Owner Award," recognizing the ownership mindset that has helped shape MegaKC's culture. The meeting also marked one final memorable moment with Brian, his last coin flip as CEO. As MegaKC continues to grow, it's our employee-owners who make that growth possible.
