TV has always been an efficient marketplace fueled by a few hundred large advertisers but CTV brings sight, sound, motion + data and the ability to scale (efficiently!!) to tens of thousands of advertisers. That’s why the acquisition of Vibe.co by Walmart Connect is so powerful. The price tag was hefty but some day I think we’ll look back on this as a great acquisition along the lines of Google buying YouTube and Facebook buying Instagram – both of which seemed massively overpriced at the time! #WiseWords #CannesLions2026
