Every grant turns vision into action, and this quarter, Thrive Philanthropy is proud to welcome 46 new grantees from 27 countries — our largest grant cohort ever. Together, these changemakers are advancing plant-based food systems and animal advocacy through locally led initiatives across: Angola, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, China, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Germany, India, Kenya, Latvia, Malawi, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Peru, Portugal, Somalia, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, United Kingdom, and Zimbabwe. Some of their projects include legal advocacy for vegan communities in Peru, efforts to stop industrial livestock expansion in Ecuador, the Thrive Africa Vegan Restaurant Week campaign, hospitality industry outreach in Zimbabwe, campaign to stop octopus factory farming in New Zealand, accelerating plant-based transition through policy and public engagement in Latvia, Vegan School Lunch outreach programs, scaling global plant-based advocacy through viral media mentorship in Germany, evidence-based nutrition interventions in clinical practice in India.
