What happens to mothers in the six weeks after delivery - when care largely drops off? The talented Russell Nichols over at Comstock's Magazine took a close look at how health systems across the Sacramento region are using remote monitoring, wraparound care, and salaried doula support to close that gap. We are proud to say that Mahmee is part of that story, alongside health systems like Sutter Health, which recently launched its Sutter Sync pilot program using remote blood pressure monitoring and video visits to keep mothers connected to care from home, and Kaiser Permanente, which has expanded doula access to reduce postpartum hemorrhage and improve birth equity. Our co-founder and CEO Melissa Hanna, and the patients we serve are featured in this piece - including Allison, a Rancho Cordova mom who navigated postpartum depression with the support of her Mahmee doula and care team. The mission has never changed: make the U.S. the best place in the world to give birth — and to show up for the communities that need us most. https://lnkd.in/gkwXrpE8

So proud to have been featured in Motherly® by the wonderful writer Sara Goldstein, with our Co-Founder & Director of Care, Linda Hanna. The article sheds light on a troubling new CDC report showing that prenatal screening rates are declining across the country, and Linda, with over 40 years of maternal health experience, talks about what she's seeing on the front lines and why it's important for every mom. Linda speaks to why this crisis demands a different kind of care: integrated teams of nurses, doulas, lactation consultants, and mental health professionals working together backed by a powerful tech infrastructure - and not in silos. That's exactly what we have built at Mahmee. This is a must-read for anyone who cares about moms, babies, and the future of maternal health. URL: https://lnkd.in/g8iG-EeG

So happy to have been featured over at The Bump (XO Group Inc.) by Ambreia Meadows-Fernandez, with our CEO Melissa Hanna. The article talks about how "digital doulas" are helping address the maternal health crisis facing Black Women in the US. Melissa also highlighted Mahmee's virtual and in-person wraparound teams and our newly expanding Clinics throughout California. Very thoughtful, well-researched article. Excellent job, Ambreia! A must-read. https://lnkd.in/gMV4S3cd
