Don't forget to upgrade to the new Lumhaa for a fully reimagined memory jar experience inspired by museums around the world ✨
The #1 thing I've learnt from almost a decade of boxing is to stay in the ring. You take the punches, you cry and pray and pause if you need, but you stay in the ring. Building Lumhaa has pretty much been like one loooong boxing match. I've cried and prayed and paused, but I've tried to stay in this ring. Because I genuinely believe that building a corner of love on the internet - one where you see yourself through the eyes of everyone who loves you - is worth the fight. And now, a little after Lumhaa's 8th birthday, I'm really proud to launch our newly imagined app, where every memory jar is treated like a museum, and every memory and love letter you put inside it is treated like a treasure. We've done a lot of work on different dream features like vintage photos, print on demand, and locking memories until the recipient smiles... but I'll leave that for you to explore in the app. For now, thank you to everyone who gave up on us along the way: being released from the pressure of your expectations allowed us to go back to the drawing board, and gave us the freedom to rebuild from scratch. Thank you even more to everyone who stayed - your pressure, and presence, are a privilege.
