Since April, some of them have paused at a gate to look at a hand-signed, limited edition for the first time. A gallery store in the terminal's marketplace, curated installations at the gates, all built around one theme: Germany. Made possible together with Fraport AG and Media Frankfurt GmbH – a collaboration that goes beyond the standard retail lease, extending the gallery across the gates, media displays and the store itself. A few months in, here's a closer look. Have you walked past the gallery on a layover through Frankfurt and if so, what caught your eye? #LiberationofArts

3daysofdesign – 𝗔 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. The most inspiring spaces don't separate art from design. Neither do we. This year's 3daysofdesign, once again, showed us why. How naturally art, design, architecture, materials and craftsmanship interact. And how much is created when they do. The most memorable environments weren't defined by individual objects alone, but by the atmosphere they created as a whole. Art is part of that from the start — transforming spaces, adding emotion, creating identity, shaping how people experience their surroundings. That's why the dialogue between art and design continues to feel so alive to us. Not only from a curatorial perspective, but in the partnerships and experiences we create together with brands, architects and designers. The question is no longer whether art belongs in the spaces they build — it's which art, and how. We return from Copenhagen with fresh inspiration, new connections and many ideas for what comes next. #LiberationofArts

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻. We are delighted to see a curated selection of LUMAS artworks on view at the Ligne Roset showroom in New York, creating a dialogue between contemporary art and iconic design. At LUMAS, we believe that art and design are at their strongest when experienced together. Beyond shaping beautiful interiors, they influence how we feel, connect, and interact with a space. Our collaboration with Ligne Roset highlights the shared belief that thoughtfully curated environments are more than the sum of their parts. Through the interplay of art, furniture, and architecture, spaces gain character, depth, and a unique sense of identity. A special thank you to our New York team for bringing this collaboration to life, and especially to Lauren Colonna, our Gallery Director at LUMAS New York, for her dedication and thoughtful execution throughout the project. If you find yourself in New York, visit the Ligne Roset showroom on Park Avenue South and experience the installation firsthand. #LiberationOfArts

Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport is open and LUMAS is part of it from day one. We've curated and installed art displays across multiple gates throughout the terminal, bringing contemporary fine art photography into one of Europe's most connected travel hubs. And in the heart of the Marketplace: a dedicated LUMAS gallery, where travelers can discover, explore, and collect – a full gallery experience, right inside the terminal. A space where millions of travelers from every corner of the world pass through every year. For us, this is a new kind of opportunity: to bring art into the journey itself. Not behind a gallery door, but right in the middle of everyday life – at the gate, between destinations, in a moment of stillness inside all that movement. Fraport AG Media Frankfurt GmbH

During Paris Fashion Week, we brought together fashion, art, and design in Karl Lagerfeld’s former studio. A place rich in creative history, reactivated as a space for dialogue across disciplines. The evening created a setting for exchange, inspiration, and new connections — reflecting the kind of cross-disciplinary thinking that continues to shape contemporary culture. A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making this moment so special. Special thanks to our incredible partners DÜTTMANN, Domina Journal, and Stone Acoustic for presenting bold, thought-provoking designs that pushed boundaries and sparked new ideas. #LiberationofArts

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝘁 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀. We are proud to see how our partners at LUMAS Budapest brought art into dialogue with movement and performance at The Club Budapest, a newly opened multifunctional sports destination in Törökbálint, Hungary. A curated selection of 22 artworks from the LUMAS portfolio was installed throughout the club — enriching training areas, communal spaces, and bistros with creativity, colour, and visual impact. Sport and art share a powerful common ground: both are universal forms of expression, engaging us physically, emotionally, and intellectually. By integrating contemporary art into this dynamic setting, The Club has created more than a sports facility — it has shaped an inspiring environment where atmosphere and identity become integral to the experience. From concept and curation to final installation, the LUMAS Budapest team supported the project every step of the way, demonstrating how art can elevate hospitality, leisure, and workplace environments alike. This collaboration is a strong example of how we at LUMAS bring the liberating power of art into new contexts — far beyond traditional gallery walls.

𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲. We’re proud to share a recent residential project realized by our LUMAS Budapest Gallery: a 300+ sqm private apartment in the heart of the city, curated exclusively with LUMAS artworks. In close collaboration with the interior design studio Insidesign, the space was conceived as a cohesive dialogue between architecture, materiality, and contemporary art. Fourteen LUMAS works were thoughtfully integrated throughout the apartment — each precisely positioned to enhance atmosphere, perspective, and spatial flow. A particular highlight: three works by Bence Bakonyi, whose photographic language brings depth and emotional resonance to the interior. He also captured the project photography, creating a seamless visual narrative between artwork and space. The result is a living environment where art is not decorative, but foundational — a home where identity, light, and artistic expression unfold across more than 300 square meters. Projects like this reflect what defines LUMAS: making contemporary art accessible while enabling highly curated, design-driven private spaces. If you are planning a residential or hospitality project and wish to integrate art at a conceptual level, our local LUMAS teams are happy to guide you from curation to installation.

𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 Over the past weekends, our LUMAS galleries opened their doors to celebrate the arrival of spring — inviting our community to experience art in a fresh and vibrant setting. Across multiple locations, we curated artworks that reflect the lightness, color, and renewed energy of the season. From floral compositions to luminous landscapes and expressive photography, each gallery created its own dialogue between art and spring. To make the experience even more special, our spaces were adorned with fresh flowers, and in selected galleries, small bouquets were gifted to our clients as a gesture of appreciation and a seasonal greeting. Our heartfelt thank you to our wonderful partners, Purpur Atelier Für Floristik Und Design and We Are Flowergirls, whose creativity and craftsmanship transformed our galleries into blooming spaces of art and atmosphere. At LUMAS, we believe art is not only to be seen, but to be experienced. This spring, it was a pleasure to share that experience with so many of you.

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲, 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲. Over the past days, we were on site at the Ambiente in Frankfurt – with a clear intention: to connect with partners, deepen existing collaborations, and explore new impulses at the intersection of art and design. Our visit included meetings with valued portfolio partners such as Zieta Studio, Sheyn. and Gardeco Objects. We were especially pleased to exchange ideas in person and discuss how our collaborations continue to evolve across different contexts and markets. What stood out throughout the fair was the strong connection between interior, atmosphere, and storytelling. Many conversations once again highlighted something we deeply believe in at LUMAS: art is not an add-on – it is an essential element in creating spaces with identity, emotion, and meaning. Ambiente offered inspiring encounters, valuable exchanges, and fresh perspectives that we look forward to carrying forward into our work beyond the fair.

We love seeing how our franchise partners bring art into dialogue with hospitality in such thoughtful and inspiring ways. This collaboration beautifully shows how curated art can elevate culinary experiences — creating atmospheres where craftsmanship, creativity, and emotion come together. It’s a great example of how LUMAS galleries worldwide translate our shared vision into unique local contexts. Thank you, Eva Wikonkal, for bringing this moment to life and for continuing to explore the transformative power of art beyond the gallery walls. #LiberationOfArts
