When Gastown partnered with Loki Creative to lead the brand campaign for Gastown Sunday Set, the goal extended beyond promoting an event series. It was about shaping a cultural moment. For twelve consecutive Sundays, the historic neighborhood transforms into a car-free destination for music, food, art, shopping, and movement, inviting the city to experience its streets in an entirely new way. Last year, we partnered with 4EVER Strategies Inc. and Discover Comox Valley to elevate the destination’s identity and create a strategy that truly reflects the region. We developed a new logo, typography, and design system, alongside a brand strategy that embodies the spirit, values, and vision of this stunning coastal region. Through a comprehensive discovery process, we engaged with stakeholders, community members, and visitors to uncover the heart of the Comox Valley. What emerged was its unique blend of accessibility and variety - offering everything from wilderness and adventure to culture and relaxation. This idea - that everything you could dream of is “all here, all near” -became the cornerstone of our approach.

We’re excited to share our latest destination project with Tourism Prince Rupert Loki was engaged to lead the brand strategy, positioning, key messaging, brand identity, and communication design for Prince Rupert - shaping how the destination shows up, speaks, and connects with visitors. Shaped by the fishing industry, local community and the rhythms of the North Coast, Prince Rupert is defined by its working waterfronts and wild beauty. Through meaningful local engagement, we uncovered a community rooted in warmth, resilience, and a unexpected quirkiness. A key part of this work was our collaboration with Ts’msyen Indigenous artist Tina Robinson. It was an incredible experience working closely with Tina as she collaborated with us to create original artwork, which we translated into digital brand assets. Her artistry informed select brand assets and graphic devices, bringing cultural depth & storytelling into the identity. The resulting brand is authentic and contemporary, celebrating culture, character, and creativity while inviting visitors to experience a destination that’s unapologetically itself. Our strategy embraced Prince Rupert’s out-of-the-ordinary spirit, where wild landscapes meet industrial edges, and every corner tells a story. This ethos comes to life through bold typography, a rich coastal colour palette, and design elements inspired by the fishing industry, the waterfront, and the character of its people. Industrial textures meet organic forms, creating a visual identity that feels lively, grounded, and unmistakably Prince Rupert.

While the logo stayed the same, we focused on everything else - building a strategy that reflects Ucluelet’s spirit, values, and vision for the future. The result: a revitalized brand and a new positioning, “Wake Up in Ucluelet.” This idea goes beyond just waking up in a physical sense. It’s about feeling renewed and recharged, like taking that first breath of fresh, salty ocean air as the morning mist rolls in. It’s about connecting with nature, slowing down, and experiencing the deep sense of calm that Ucluelet offers. It’s an invitation to wake up, breathe, and rediscover what matters. Rooted in Ucluelet’s unique character, this new direction paves the way for a vibrant future in tourism, inspiring travelers to experience the town with fresh eyes and clear mind.

We partnered with Park Hyatt Vancouver to bring their new spa to life, from naming and brand storytelling to a visual identity that reflects the calm, clarity, and natural flow of the West Coast. Introducing Orrin, a contemporary spa experience where light, water, and nature converge to create a sanctuary for restoration. At its core, Orrin is designed as an immersive pause from the world: a place where the sensory landscape is intentionally shaped to slow the mind, restore the body, and ground guests in the quiet power of British Columbia’s natural environment.
