Nobody's favorite part of the night is the line. LineLeap cofounder and CMO Max Schauff on what the night looks like when it's gone.

60% of LineLeap users have a bar they'd call "their bar." We asked what makes it feel that way. 48% said the vibe. 24% said the people. 9% said the staff knowing them. Then we looked at the people who used to have a regular bar but don't anymore. Staff recognition jumped to 19%. Double the full-sample rate, second only to vibe. The thing most likely to end a bar relationship isn't a bad night or a price increase. It's a bartender who no longer knows your name. For college bars, that clock resets every 18 months. The staff turns over. The regulars graduate. The relationships that made someone feel at home have to be rebuilt from scratch. LineLeap only works with the best college bars in their markets. They've solved this. They're packed every weekend. If you want your brand in front of that crowd, reach out.

Our co-founder Max Schauff sat down with the BBD team and Texas bar owner Garth Tubbs to talk about what this market actually looks like right now. Thanks to Harry Schuhmacher, Jenn Litz-Kirk, and everyone at Beer Business Daily for having us. Full conversation linked below.

Vibe Check: We ask our users why they take shots. Survey respondents most commonly associated shots with ‘efficiency,’ citing speed, convenience, and a quicker social uplift. Celebration was the second most popular reason. Most of them mentioned both. Shots aren't a celebration product or a tactical one. They're usually both at the same time. Cheers!

🎶 We got that summertime, summertime Vibe Check. 🎶 We asked users about their summer plans. 91% have already booked a vacation. The crowd that was filling college bars every Friday doesn't stop going out in June. 26% are going international, with Italy, Mexico, Spain, and Greece leading the list. 1 in 8 users are heading to Florida. With 73% of users buying the same drink at the store they ordered at the bar, the brands showing up in Florida this summer are the ones getting reached for in the fall. But it's not just beach towns anymore. NYC, Miami, and Nashville all increased versus last year. Bachelorette weekends, city escapes, a long weekend somewhere that isn't the shore. A summer strategy built only around beach towns is missing out. LineLeap is in these markets. Spring showed what this audience does at a peak moment. There are a lot of those between now and Labor Day.

It's Thursday and you know what that means. Vibe Check! We asked LineLeap users how their going out habits have changed from last year. Here's what they said: 76% are going out more than last year. 75% are spending more when they do. 59% are spending more at the liquor store too. The industry has spent years building a story about young consumers pulling back. Our users didn't get the memo. More nights out. More per night. More at the store. If you want to reach this audience, they're here. DM us.
