Another major dedusting system installation is underway. The Kernic Systems installation team is currently hard at work on one of the largest corrugated box plant dedusting systems we've delivered, supporting a high-volume manufacturing operation in the Midwest U.S. This project features: • 85,000 CFM Höcker Polytechnik MultiStar dedusting system • Dust collection serving three corrugated box converting machines • Twin 150 HP system fans delivering the airflow required for continuous production • An integrated dust briquetting system to simplify dust handling and reduce waste • A fully engineered system designed to meet applicable safety and compliance requirements • Installation being completed under challenging summer conditions, with our crews working through extreme heat to keep the project on schedule. Projects of this size require careful planning, close coordination, and experienced installation teams. The work continues! This past week, the Kernic Systems installation team completed the installation of a new Höcker Polytechnik GmbH centralized scrap waste handling system for a corrugated packaging manufacturer in North Carolina. This phase of the project included the installation of a Hocker PMA Series Rotary Airlock Separator and MultiStar dust collection system designed to improve plant cleanliness, reduce airborne dust, enhance operator safety, and support long-term system reliability. The system incorporates NFPA-compliant safety features, high-efficiency filtration, and an integrated dust briquetting solution for automated dust handling. Effective dust collection plays a critical role in modern corrugated manufacturing operations. By capturing and filtering dust generated throughout the production process, facilities can maintain cleaner work areas, reduce housekeeping requirements, improve equipment performance, and create a safer working environment for employees. This installation is part of a larger 30,000 CFM scrap recovery system that will ultimately serve multiple production lines while providing capacity for future expansion. This week, the Kernic Systems team had the opportunity to attend the Bramidan Group Partner Conference in Munich, Germany, followed by two days at the IFAT Munich trade show. It was a great week connecting with fellow Bramidan dealers from around the world, sharing ideas, discussing industry trends, and strengthening the partnerships that continue to support the growth of the Bramidan brand across North America. During the conference, Kernic Systems was also proud to see Daniel Williams receive the “Above and Beyond” Award in recognition of his efforts in growing the Bramidan brand in Canada and the strong number of units shipped throughout 2025 and 2026 so far. Outside of the conference and trade show, the team also had the chance to experience the beautiful city of Munich — great food, great atmosphere, and an incredible place to visit. During this recent sales and technical trip, our teams connected at their new facility to collaborate on key initiatives, share technical insights, and align on future growth opportunities across North America. It was an incredibly productive few days of knowledge exchange and strategic planning as we continue to strengthen our partnership.
