This marks an important milestone in our expansion and reinforces our commitment to providing secure and compliant cross border payment solutions for businesses globally. The licence strengthens our ability to support international transfers for companies that rely on fast and reliable settlement. It also reflects confidence in our governance structures, technology and risk management systems. Nigeria is a key market for trade and financial services. In 2024 the country’s trade was valued at approximately US$93 billion, a level that signals deep liquidity and strong cross border potential in the Nigerian economy. With this approval, Kappa is well positioned to deepen its presence and continue offering fast and highly reliable payments to businesses across Africa.
