Call for Abstracts | Analytical and Computational Approaches in Mass Spectrometry-Based Proteomics. Guest edited by Aleksandra A. Petelski (University of Central Florida), JoVE invites researchers to submit abstracts to this Topical Collection on reproducible protocols connecting experimental proteomics workflows with computational analysis. The collection highlights practical approaches for sample preparation, chromatography, mass spectrometry acquisition, data processing, and systems-level interpretation, supporting high-quality proteomics studies from discovery workflows to targeted and quantitative analyses. Thanks to Bruker Cellular Analysis and Decode Science for featuring this JoVE publication and highlighting the importance of single-cell functional profiling in CAR T-cell research. We're proud to help researchers share advanced workflows that improve reproducibility and accelerate innovation in immunotherapy.
🚨 Not all CAR T cells are created equal. Despite the remarkable success of CAR T-cell therapies, conventional bulk and endpoint assays can make it difficult to fully characterize the functional heterogeneity of individual CAR T cells. In a new JoVE publication, researchers demonstrate a workflow using the Beacon® platform for functional, multi-parameter profiling of live single CAR T cells. By combining real-time measurements of cytotoxicity, cytokine secretion, and activation state with recovery of individual live cells for downstream characterization, the workflow provides a comprehensive approach for evaluating CAR T-cell functionality. 📖 Publication: https://lnkd.in/gdCgsmEK #BrukerCellularAnalysis #CARTCellTherapy #SingleCell #Immunotherapy #CellTherapy #FunctionalBiology #JoVE

Do you need primary HLA-G/C+ EVT or primary EVT-like cell lines from preterm, preeclampsia or healthy term pregnancies for immune cell - EVT cultures and mechanistic studies? Check out our new video protocol just published in JoVE on how to establish happy & healthy primary EVT cultures. Made possible in collaboration with my amazing trainees Angel Dasenbrock (Rapp), Shweta Mahajan & Sayaka Tsuda ❤️. You can find the full protocol here: https://hubs.ly/Q04ptKq50

Excited to share that I am serving as a Guest Editor for a new JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) Methods Collection: "AI-Enabled Experimental Methods for Biomedical Discovery"! 🔬🤖 The true bottleneck of AI in biomedical discovery isn't just about designing more complex algorithms: it is about data scarcity, standardized experimental validation, and bridging the gap between in silico designs and wet-lab reality. This JoVE collection aims to showcase the cutting-edge, step-by-step experimental workflows that are either enabled by AI or designed to validate AI models in biomedical research. We are actively inviting submissions! 📢 If your lab is working on: AI-driven experimental design & wet-lab automation High-throughput screening validated by computational models Machine learning methods integrated with clinical/biological imaging, omics, or bioengineering protocols Translational biomedical methods guided by predictive modeling ... We would love to feature your work! One of the unique benefits of publishing with JoVE is their professional video production team, which will turn your protocol into a high-quality video article, ensuring maximum visibility and reproducibility. 👉 Check out the collection and submit your abstract here: https://lnkd.in/gyz9G7qV Feel free to DM me directly if you have any questions or would like to discuss a potential submission. Let's build a more solid and reproducible future for AI-driven discovery together! Thanks for the support from Zhaoyu Liu and Jingjie Ning, who are also guest editors for this collection. #AI4Science #AI4Health #Bioengineering #TranslationalMedicine #MachineLearning #WetLab #AcademicLeadership #Bioinformatics #JoVE #ScientificReproducibility

At Kaye Academic College of Education | המכללה האקדמית לחינוך ע"ש קיי, one idea became a faculty-wide teaching shift. Dr Elina Abaev-Schneiderman, winner of the 2025 Ambassador Innovation Award, helped make visual learning part of everyday lessons, with every science lecturer at Kaye now using JoVE videos to train future teachers.
