Congratulations to our partners at SSP America on receiving three major awards in the airport industry. Winning awards is a great achievement, but what stands out even more is the consistent quality, creativity, and execution SSP brings to airport dining. Their team continues to elevate the guest experience and create memorable concepts in some of the busiest travel environments in the country. Johnson-Lancaster is proud to have played a role in these spaces. Congratulations again to SSP America and everyone involved. We appreciate the partnership and are proud to support projects that help bring these outstanding airport food and beverage experiences to life.
Winning awards is great. What matters more is who made them possible. Last night at the Airports Council International - North America Business of Airports Conference, we were honored to receive three awards that recognize what travel dining can be at its best: • Best New F&B Full-Service Concept: Gotham Speakeasy at JFK Terminal 4 (JFK International Air Terminal) • Best New Passenger Experience Concept: Cincinnati Bengals Bar & Kitchen at CVG Airport - Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport • Best New Local Concept: Wander Kitchen & Bar by Chef Nicole Gomes at Calgary Airports International Airport We’re also proud to be part of the Midway Partnership which received the prestigious Richard Greisbach Award for our collective work at Midway (Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) - O'Hare & Midway International Airports). Each of these concepts was built with a single idea in mind. Create something that does more than serve travelers. Create something that is the best part of the traveler’s journey. From a Prohibition-era speakeasy that captures the spirit of New York, to a restaurant that turns hometown pride into a full-sensory experience, to a welcoming space designed to bring comfort, discovery, and a true sense of place to every journey, these concepts reflect the creativity and commitment of our teams. To the people who imagined, designed, built, and now operate these restaurants every day, this recognition belongs to you. And to our airport partners, thank you. These experiences only come to life through true collaboration and a shared commitment to making SSP America the Best Part of the Journey.

We are grateful and excited to be part of the Goldman Sachs NorthEnd Campus project in Dallas. This is a landmark project, and the vision for the campus is impressive — a world-class workplace designed around collaboration, employee experience, wellness, and hospitality. The foodservice and dining areas are an important part of that experience, from the dining room and terrace to coffee bars, social spaces, and other workplace amenities that help bring people together throughout the day. At Johnson-Lancaster, we take great pride in supporting complex projects like this where foodservice is not just a back-of-house function, but a meaningful part of the overall campus environment and employee experience. Thank you to Goldman Sachs and the entire project team for the opportunity to contribute to such an exciting and high-quality project. We are proud to be involved. https://lnkd.in/eDx58e3r

Wonder’s growth and impact are a great example of where our industry is headed: more dynamic formats, smarter operations, and new ways to bring high-quality food to more people. Grateful to share that Johnson-Lancaster & Associates was part of another FE&S Facility Design Project of the Month — this time for the renovation of The Commons, Commons Market, and Commons Express at Cedarville University. Even more meaningful: this marks two months in a row that Johnson-Lancaster has been part of a project recognized by Foodservice Equipment & Supplies as a Facility Design Project of the Month, following the Adams House renewal at Harvard University. The Cedarville project is a great example of how thoughtful foodservice design can completely transform the student dining experience — modernizing the space, improving flow, expanding menu variety, creating more front-of-house culinary theater, and supporting both daily dining and late-night/mobile-order operations. Congratulations to Cedarville University, Pioneer College Caterers, Nvironment, and the entire project team. We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute alongside such talented partners and proud of the Johnson-Lancaster team’s role in bringing this project to life. https://lnkd.in/eDm6eeTv

Grateful to have Johnson-Lancaster Associates be part of the Harvard University (Adams House renewal), recently featured by Foodservice Equipment & Supplies as a Facility Design Project for April. Projects like this are what make our industry special — bringing together history, architecture, foodservice design, equipment, installation, and operations to create spaces that serve students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the broader campus community every day. Adams House is one of Harvard’s most historic residential Houses, and this renovation balanced preservation with a modernized dining experience, updated back-of-house flow, improved infrastructure, and a refreshed front-of-house servery. A sincere thank you to Harvard University Dining Services, Beyer Blinder Belle, Ricca Design Studios, Shawmut Design and Construction, and the entire project team. We’re proud of the role our Johnson-Lancaster team played in helping bring this project to life. Congratulations to everyone involved. https://lnkd.in/eUVbuPMx

JL's SoCal Team is very excited to be growing with the Starbird Chicken team as they continue expanding their super-premium fast-casual concept into new markets. Starbird has built a strong brand around chef-driven food, operational innovation, and a fresh approach to what fast food can be. Their recently announced growth plans — including a major expansion into Texas — are another exciting step in bringing the concept to more guests across the country. At Johnson-Lancaster, we’re proud to partner with restaurant brands that are scaling with purpose and investing in the systems, equipment, and execution needed to support long-term growth. Congratulations to the entire Starbird team on this exciting momentum. We’re grateful to be part of the journey and look forward to what’s ahead. https://lnkd.in/exz_c_Pn

We’re excited to be partnering with Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream as they continue their thoughtful growth across the country. Handel’s has built an incredible 80-year legacy around handcrafted ice cream, community, and consistency — and it’s clear their team is taking the right approach to expansion: growing with purpose while protecting what has made the brand special for generations. At Johnson-Lancaster, we’re proud to support brands that understand the importance of operational excellence behind the scenes as they scale. As Handel’s continues expanding into new communities, we’re excited to play a role in helping support that growth. Congratulations to the entire Handel’s team on this exciting chapter. We’re looking forward to what’s ahead. https://lnkd.in/eaAdTqPC

We’re excited to be working with the Asado Life team on their new Downtown Jacksonville riverfront project. Asado Life has created a truly distinctive dining experience — built around live-fire cooking, hospitality, and the feeling of a local escape. Bringing that concept to the Jacksonville Shipyards area, near the future Four Seasons Hotel & Residences and the Jaguars’ new headquarters, is another exciting step in the continued growth and redevelopment of Downtown Jacksonville. At Johnson-Lancaster, we’re proud to support restaurant and hospitality projects where the kitchen is central to the guest experience. This is exactly the kind of concept that brings energy, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of place to a developing waterfront district. Congratulations to Nick Carrera, the Asado Life team, and everyone involved in bringing this project to life. We’re excited to be part of it. https://lnkd.in/er-fJn8j
