  • How do groups build connection quickly? In our work across schools, conferences, workplaces and community settings, we regularly see something simple but powerful: Shared rhythm often creates connection faster than conversation alone. Our latest article explores how rhythm-based participation can support presence, engagement, wellbeing and group connection — not as a performance, but as a shared human experience. • We're excited to be bringing our Drum Circle Facilitator Training back to Brisbane this August 🙌 Over the years, we’ve worked with educators, wellbeing practitioners and facilitators who are looking for simple, practical ways to create more connection, engagement and focus in their groups. This 2-day training is a hands-on experience where you’ll learn how to facilitate rhythm-based group sessions using drums and body percussion — no musical background required. It’s always a really special mix of people, and a genuinely supportive environment to learn in. If this is something you’ve been curious about, feel free to take a look or reach out — happy to chat. 👉 https://lnkd.in/gM26-93s

  • Some Benefits of Drumming for Team Building Improves communication and teamwork: Participants learn to listen to each other and work together to create a unified rhythm, highlighting the interdependence of a team. Reduces stress and anxiety:  The rhythmic and musical nature of the activity is proven to be stress-relieving and can boost the immune system. Enhances creativity and problem-solving: Drumming encourages creative thinking and helps teams find new ways to solve problems together. Breaks down social barriers:  It provides a non-intimidating and fun environment for colleagues to connect and build rapport, regardless of their background or role. Boosts energy and morale:  Drumming is a highly energetic and engaging activity that can energize a group and create a fun, shared experience. How it works.... Inclusive and accessible:  The activity is designed for everyone, regardless of musical talent, and focuses on shared participation rather than competition. Uses rhythm as a metaphor:  Facilitators often use the process of building a drum rhythm to represent the dynamics of teamwork, communication, and collaboration. Focuses on harmony:  The goal is for individuals to contribute their part to a larger, harmonious whole, demonstrating how diverse inputs can create something powerful.
