InoBat is strengthening the #energy independence of Slovak metallurgical company OFZ, a. s. through the installation of #BESS with a total capacity of 30 MWh. We are proud to announce our first largest installation in Slovakia under InoBat´s new brand – “BESSMONT”, which marks the launch of a new business segment focused on #energy solutions. The project at OFZ, a. s.’s production facility in Oravský Podzámok was designed to enhance energy security and operational stability in an energy-intensive manufacturing environment. In the first phase of the project we delivered BESS units with total capacity of 30 MWh and a planned system performance of 10 MW to OFZ, a. s.´s production facility. Beyond the delivery of the #BESS solution itself, InoBat with its #BESSMONT team provide complete construction and electrical installation works, development of the necessary infrastructure, and preparation for full integration into the EMS and PCS systems. Final project handover, including technical testing and fully integrated operation, is scheduled for the end of March 2026. In the following weeks InoBat will be officially unveiling the full #BESSMONT brand identity and service portfolio. We’re proud to announce a strategic cooperation between EduBat and InnoEnergy Skills Institute. Our partnership is built on a shared vision: enabling Europe’s transition to net zero by strengthening #skills and #capabilities in #batterytechnologies, #energystorage, and #sustainability. We put people and knowledge at the center of the energy transition, which will create new #jobs for thousands of people across Europe. This transition will require a #new level of skills application, an #innovative approach to #education, and effective #reskilling and #upskilling. By combining hands-on technical training from EduBat with international expertise and European best practices from InnoEnergy, we aim to deliver: • practical training programs • upskilling and reskilling initiatives • train-the-trainer activities This cooperation marks another important milestone on the journey to making Slovakia a regional leader in battery skills and #STEM talent development.

As announced at #CES2026, InoBat is proud to partner with Clarios and Altris AB on the #sodium-ion technology. Six years ago at InoBat, we envisioned Slovakia as a place, where world-class battery technology is developed and scaled.   That time this vision might seem too brave.   But the journey started, step by step, inch by inch coming towards our goals.   We were creating our first cells, building the R&D and pilot line facility in Voderady, bonding up a team and developing strategic partnerships.    And Today, the once considered too brave vision became a reality.   On 28 October 2025, the joint venture between InoBat and Gotion Inc., GIB EnergyX officially broke ground on a new battery cell manufacturing gigafactory in Šurany.    This is one of the largest industrial investments in Slovakia in recent years — valued at over EUR 1.2 billion and set to create around 1,300 skilled jobs. Slovakia’s automotive industry is at a crossroads. We are part of the solution. At InoBat, we were proud to host the annual meeting of the Automotive Industry Association of the Slovak Republic (Zväz automobilového priemyslu SR). Leaders from across the sector joined us, and one thing became clear: industry transformation is not the future — it is the present. Slovakia produces more cars per capita than any other country in the world. Globally, batteries are replacing combustion engines — a shift that is transforming everything from supply chains to the skills companies need. What stood out: • Education is lagging behind reality. We need technicians and engineers who understand battery technologies today, not in five years. Universities and secondary schools must adapt faster — otherwise, we will have to import talent. • ESG is no longer a “nice to have.” European manufacturers demand transparency across the entire supply chain. Companies that underestimate this will lose contracts. • Financing the transition. Moving to e-mobility requires major investments in both technology and people. We need tools that help Slovak firms stay competitive. These were not theoretical discussions. Automotive leaders asked concrete questions about capacity, certifications, and lead times. The message is simple: the transition is happening now, and companies are looking for answers. Our commitment at EduBat: We take responsibility for preparing people for this change. We design hands-on programs that build real skills for real roles across the battery value chain. Thank you to ZAP SR for the partnership and to all participants for their openness.
