Most post-close audit teams only check 10% of their loans. It's often treated as the industry standard, but in reality, that's just the limit they settle for. Because time, headcount, and investor deadlines only stretch so far, 10% is usually where teams land. The problem is that a 10% audit sample leaves 90% of loans unchecked, and the defects hiding in that 90% don't just disappear. They tend to resurface later, often as costly buybacks. Infrrd's Agentic AI - Ally for mortgage changes that math. By automating 80% of audit prep, Ally helps mortgage audit teams expand coverage from 10% to 30% and even more, without adding a single new hire. That's not just three times more loans reviewed. It has three times more chances to catch the exception that would cost you down the line. Because in post-close audits, what you don't check today is what you end up paying for tomorrow. Auditors, what do you think?

Relatable? Then read on. As a mortgage auditor, you're probably spending way more time preparing for an audit than actually auditing. You're pulling data from loan files, searching through documents, and validating information before the real review even begins. Want to put an end to this? What separates regular mortgage audit teams from best-in-class audit teams? In many post-close mortgage audits, teams still spend hours pulling data, checking documents, and navigating loan files before the real review even begins. That slows everything down and leaves more room for errors. This is exactly the problem Infrrd’s Agentic AI Ally is built to solve. Ally handles up to 80% of the audit data prep work, so auditors can focus on what they’re actually meant to do: audit. Check out Infrrd’s Ally here: https://lnkd.in/ggDsiicF

Infrrd's 10-year celebration had a little bit of everything: old memories, founding stories, a talent show, good food, and a dance floor that eventually pulled everyone in. For Infrrdians, this was more than just another event. It was a walk down memory lane, a celebration of how far we’ve come, and a reason to feel excited about what lies ahead. Over the last 10 years, Infrrd hasn't just built innovation in the IDP space. We've built something that's meant to last. As Amit Jnagal puts it, Infrrd has always been audacious, enduring, and honourable. And for the future, those values are only going to get stronger.

As a mortgage compliance or audit leader, you know the pressure of answering to the board when buybacks happen. And the hard truth is, your team may be trying to solve the problem only at the surface. You hire more people. Add more review layers. Try another automation tool. Push auditors to move faster. But the real question is not, “How do we review faster?” The better question is, “How do we reduce the risk of finding critical errors only after the loan has already been sold to an investor?” Because once the investor review is complete and an issue surfaces later, the cost is much higher. What your team could have caught during post-close review can quickly turn into a repurchase risk, investor finding, or costly buyback. And one of the clearest ways to reduce that risk is to increase your post-close loan audit coverage. Most mortgage audit teams review only a sample of loans during post-close audits, and for many, that sample size is around 10%. But 10% is not always the ideal level of coverage. In many cases, it is simply the practical limit your team settles for because you are working within tight constraints around time, headcount, cost, and investor deadlines. The challenge is that a 10% sample still leaves a large portion of your loan files unchecked. And the issues that slip through that limited sample are often the same issues that create bigger problems later. This is where agentic AI for mortgage auditing changes the equation. With automation, your team can expand post-close loan audit coverage from 10% to up to 30% without increasing headcount. That means the same team of auditors can review more loan files, catch more exceptions, and strengthen compliance confidence without being buried under repetitive audit prep. And this is not just about handling 3x more volume. It is about creating 3x more opportunities to catch defects, discrepancies, and compliance risks before they turn into investor findings or buyback exposure.
