  • A warm welcome to Waterstones, our newest customer at Indurent Park Burton! The bookseller has chosen a new c.300,000 sq ft distribution centre at the park to support the next stage of growth for its bookshops, online business and product ranges, continuing an association with Burton upon Trent that stretches back almost two decades. The unit, B295, sits on a 14.7-acre site with excellent connectivity to Birmingham and the wider motorway network, and has been built to the highest sustainability standards, including an EPC A rating and BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification. Huge congratulations to James and to Sandhya Mohan, who collected the awards on the night. • Last week, colleagues from across our London, Birmingham and Stockport offices came together in Sherwood Forest for our annual Indurent Summer Summit 2026. Over two days we reflected on our progress, celebrated our people and looked ahead to the opportunities in front of us.   We heard from keynote speakers Simon French on the state of the global economy, Sophie Bostock, PhD on wellbeing and the importance of sleep, and Felix Riley on AI and why he’s optimistic about the future of the workforce. Three of our customers also shared how our spaces support their growth, and our Senior Leadership Team covered business performance and where AI is taking Indurent.   One of the highlights came from within our own team. Jay Whiting, Legal Counsel at Indurent, shared his incredible experience completing the Everest triple crown, climbing Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse in a single season, becoming the youngest Brit and fourth person in history to achieve it. An inspiring reminder of what our colleagues carry with them beyond their day jobs.   Alongside the learning, we celebrated our people at our annual awards ceremony, took on the Forest Explorer Challenge and enjoyed an evening together as one team. Bringing three offices together like this matters. It builds the relationships that make us better for our customers and our partners.   And a huge thank you to our amazing organisers Anna Petrides, Tim Rogers, and Kezia Lewis for putting together such a incredible and seamless event. We’re heading back into the second half of the year with plenty of inspiration and momentum. 🧡

  • CoStar has taken an in-depth look at Indurent Park Derby, and the story is a good one to tell. What was once 27.1 hectares of derelict, contaminated brownfield land beside the River Derwent is now a thriving business park anchoring the city’s industrial and logistics offer. Getinge, Vaillant UK, Rolls-Royce, Kia UK Limited, PURESEOUL • The Home of K-Beauty and Rodd & Gunn have all made it home, bringing international investment and skilled jobs to Derby. Getting there wasn’t simple. Complex ground conditions, flood risk and major highway upgrades all had to be worked through before a single unit went up. The result speaks for itself: a £100 million investment that’s regenerated a forgotten site into a genuine destination for global occupiers. Great insight from our team on how it came together. Thank you to Rob Richardson and Lee Nash for sharing their perspectives with Luke Haynes and CoStar. You can read read the full feature via the link in the comments.

  • Real estate isn’t traditionally seen as a technology driven industry. Our CFO Tom Olsen thinks that needs to change. In a new opinion piece for AccountingWEB.co.uk, he shares how Indurent is using technology, process and an open minded culture to drive efficiencies across the business. From nearly 300 AI ideas generated from within the business, to a tech stack enabling smarter capital allocation, Tom sets out why getting the basics right is what powers long term growth. • And they're off! 🏃 It was a bright and early start this morning at the source of the River Thames, with 149 brave runners across 14 companies setting off for this years Source to Sea!    18 teams have taken on the 6th edition of the Indurent challenge: 295km of non-stop relay running, all the way from Cirencester to the Thames Barrier in London. With team overlaps, through-the-night stints and support crew dashes, that's a little over 350km covered over the course of 2 days.    Our runners aren't just doing this for fun (the type two kind!), they're raising money for our charity partner LandAid, the property industry's charity working to end youth homelessness in the UK.   If you're able to, please donate on the link below. We have a target of £100,000 and we're a little over half way there, so all donations would be gratefully received and will go to a brilliant cause!   📍 Follow our team in real time as they take on the ultimate challenge: https://lnkd.in/euRkf_TH 🧡 Show your support and donate here: https://lnkd.in/eZ92kX_J   Thank you to our wonderful sponsors, Gowling WLG, Savills, Ramsey Heath and Trinovant.   We're feeling very proud of our community today and hope you join us in wishing them good luck!

  • Energy costs are unpredictable. But the roof over your warehouse could be part of the solution. In a new opinion piece, our Head of Sustainability James Wakelin explores why rooftop solar is becoming a must-have for industrial and logistics real estate, not a nice-to-have. At Indurent, we’re on track for 20MWp of installed capacity by year end, with potential for 250MWp+ across our portfolio long term, enough to power 6,500 homes and worth £35-40m of electricity annually. Customers using on-site generation are already seeing electricity cost reductions of 10%+. Read the full piece here: https://lnkd.in/eACyXdTG
