Co-authored with her oncologists at Memorial Sloan Kettering and NYU Langone, the piece urges the diaspora community to get screened, test homes for radon, advocate for Asia-specific research, and know that today's targeted therapies offer genuine hope even at advanced stages. He arrived in America with a suitcase and a student visa... He is the co-founder of one of the first angel investment firms. A Forbes Midas Lister. Written up on the front page of the Wall Street Journal. But success was never the destination. It was all about giving. Meet MR Rangaswami — founder of Indiaspora, one of the most powerful networks of global Indian leaders ever assembled. United around one idea: success means nothing if it doesn’t serve something greater. And he’s made sure women have a seat at that table. As an ambassador for the Diaspora and advocate of women leaders, I’m so thrilled he’s adding Lotus Leadership to his bookshelf. Find your way to a copy in the comments. 🪷 #Indiaspora #Leadership #LotusLeadership

  • Indiaspora hosted a compelling panel discussion on "Reimagining Wellness" at offices of Tulsea, in Mumbai. Dr. Shriram Nene, MD Founder of Pathfinder Health Sciences, opened with what wellness looks like today. Tanya Kukade, Senior Member of the Pharma, Healthcare & Digital Health Practice at Nishith Desai Associates, reflected on how perceptions of wellness have shifted over the last decade. Vishal Gondal, Founder & CEO of GOQii, closed the loop by looking ahead, envisioning what wellness could look like ten years from now. Together, the discussion offered a full-circle view of wellness: where we've been, where we are, and where we're headed. The session was moderated by moderated by Sanjeev Joshipura, Executive Director of Indiaspora. A special thanks to Indiaspora Member, Datta Dave of Tulsea for hosting. • New on our Blog: Smita Das Jain has penned Jagannath: Stories of Faith and Devotion as a way of exploring roots and belonging while grappling with what "home" really means, having moved constantly due to her father's Army career and never quite settling permanently in Odisha. The book, a collection of 75 stories across six parts (from Jagannath's origins to Rath Yatra celebrations worldwide), revealed to her a deity far more expansive than the "Lord of Puri" she'd known, one tied to tribal communities, forests, and ordinary homes, and in the process deepened rather than diminished her sense of his divinity.
