In Parallel

Technology, Information and Internet

Empowering organizations and people to do the right things right.

About us

Managers don’t need more dashboards — they need superpowers. In Parallel builds the habits that make teams unstoppable. Our system automates the routines that great leaders already run — from 1:1s to board reviews — learning a little more every week. It connects the dots across Meetings, project management tools, Slack, Teams, and email so your organization runs on shared memory, not scattered notes and recollection. For your work, this means clarity without clutter and governance without friction. Learning built in. Routines run the company. Build better ones. (SOC2, ISO 27001, and ISO 42001 certified – compliant to your standards)

Our new MCP is live on Product Hunt today. 🚀 The itch we're scratching: the meeting where you decided the thing, the follow-up where you re-decided it, the deck explaining it, the status update about the deck. Somewhere in there, actual work happened — usually at 10pm. In Parallel sits underneath your tools. It joins every meeting, captures what was actually decided, and keeps the plan alive without anyone babysitting it. All of this context is something you can use in your favourite AI tool seamlessly, finally. If you've ever lost a decision between the room and the roadmap - or want to do something good during your summer break ☀️ , we'd love your upvote — and even more, your honest take in the comments: 👉 https://lnkd.in/ejPEzsn8 Every upvote today genuinely moves the needle. Thank you 🙏

  • Every conversation with customers has shaped what we've built. Today we're excited to put it in front of the Product Hunt community and hear what people think 🚀

  • At what point does founder-led sales become founder-limited sales? Every founder should be the first person selling their product. Nobody understands the customer, the problem, or the vision better. But as companies grow, the founder's role changes. One insight from our latest conversation with Jason🔥 Barnaby captures that transition well: "I can spend 8–12 hours a week... and achieve more than a CEO trying to run sales." Not because founders can't sell, but because as organizations scale, the CEO's attention shifts from closing deals to building the company. That's also where we see the coordination tax emerge. Scaling isn't just about handing work to someone else—it's about making sure people continue operating with the same understanding as the business becomes more complex. Where do you think that transition happens? ↓ Link to the full conversation with Jason in the comments.

  • Last week our team launched the first episode of The Coordination Tax where James Fielding joined us to talk about vulnerability as a strength. About standing in front of a team and saying "I don't know." About the truth tellers already sitting inside every organization who've never been enabled to speak. About Disney giving him time — real time — to do the Disney Store turnaround the right way, and why that kind of trust is what most leaders never get. In this episode, he walks through: → The airplane hangar prototype and 350 tours behind the Disney Store turnaround → Why "we've always done it that way" and "we tried it before" quietly kill learning → How to build an organization where truth actually reaches the top → The lesson every leader eventually learns — that leading is about the environment, not the answers Jim spent his career turning around iconic brands — Disney Stores, Claire's, DreamWorks Animation, and 20th Century Fox. "The best leaders aren't the smartest people in the room. It's actually the room itself — if you create the environment for others to thrive in." #leadership #business #podcast

Something I realized this week is how the thing we're building at In Parallel has quietly but very permanently changed how I work. Before, when I wanted to work out on, say, the latest priorities for one of our customers, I opened Slack to scroll through threads at multiple channels, maybe check a few emails, Google Docs and Linear tickets. Then switched to Claude or Figma and proceed to copy-paste a bunch of information to work with back and forth. Sound familiar? Constant app-switching and task-chaining. Can be done, but it's not really great for one's brain health over time. And in a team setting this multiplies exponentially when everyone has their own apps, docs, data and habits. What I do now instead is I use our MCP in Claude, and just ask questions. All of the contextual information that used to be scattered all over is now accessible right there — every meeting we've transcribed, and every detail from tasks to plans — all of the context, in one place, and always up-to-date*. I love Claude as a tool, but it is not great at keeping track of shared context or the tacit knowledge. Our MCP has revolutionized this for me, allowing me to get all the answers right when I need them and put my focus on the work outcomes instead. This may sound counterintuitive, but this actually removes a fair chunk of the cognitive brainfry and makes my days feel easier. We made a video below of this a few weeks back when we launched the mcp but I never guessed the change would be this dramatic. Love it. *)= Goes without saying the way we handle data is up to highest security + privacy standards and 100% EU sovereign.

  • In sales conversations, the same moment keeps coming up. A team has Claude running. Someone asks: "What are the top risks going into the board meeting?" Without context: "I'd recommend reviewing your project status and preparing a risk register." With In Parallel: "Three risks: API dependency (high — no mitigation, Tomas), auth unresolved (medium — plan due Friday), scope change not communicated (low — Sari, EOD Thursday). Highest urgency: API, no owner assigned." That is the moment they name the MCP as the decisive integration hook. Plans. Decisions. Risks. Learnings. Consumable from the AI they already use – without opening In Parallel. 29 tools. OAuth-secured. Live now. Setup here https://lnkd.in/dc2j9JdP

  • Just over a third of people treat deadlines as real commitments. Not because they don't care. Because no system captured the commitment, no system tracked it, and no system noticed when it went stale. The accountability gap isn't a culture problem. It's an infrastructure problem. Commitments are made in meetings. They need to live somewhere after the meeting ends. https://lnkd.in/dkskBpBS

  • Most AI conversations are still organised around the wrong axis. Which model is best? Which writes the cleanest code? Which is cheapest per million tokens? Twelve months of customer conversations later, the model has quietly become the swappable part. "We'll use Claude for now" sits next to "and move when Bedrock undercuts it." The model is becoming a commodity. The value is moving to the layer that decides what the model knows. There are two kinds of AI assistants in 2026. The kind that reads a few integrations and guesses fluently. And the kind that is grounded in the company's actual reality — the causal thread between meetings, decisions, risks, and outcomes. The first is fluent. The second is right. This week, we published the In Parallel MCP. Open standard, OAuth-protected per our workspaces, Claude-ready, live in the registries. Same model, same prompt; your AI assistant on top of it answers from what is actually live today, not from what it could piece together on demand at the last minute. The 10× is not in more data. It is an order of magnitude improvement in relevance. If you have wondered where AI earns its keep in operations and delivery work — not chat, but the real coordination tax of running a company — that is the demo we would like to give you.

  • Every executive briefing is built from last week's data. The steering committee is on Friday. The pack went out on Thursday. It was assembled on Wednesday from data pulled on Tuesday. By Friday morning, three things have changed. Nobody updated the pack. This isn't a discipline failure. It's a systems failure. The briefing was always going to be out of date — because no infrastructure exists to keep it current. We wrote about the briefing nobody writes — and what it would take to generate it automatically. https://lnkd.in/dcAX7i3w
