We are profoundly saddened to announce the passing of our Co-Founder and company leader, Kartik Khanna, who recently passed away unexpectedly in Budapest due to cardiac arrest. Kartik was not only a founder and leader but also a valued colleague, mentor, and friend. He brought energy, conviction, and high ethical standards to all he did, shaping much of our company's identity. Kartik was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and his loss will be mourned by many. Kartik leaves behind his wife Pranjla, mother Neena Khanna, and his three-year-old daughter, Kyra. Along with his business partner & Co-founder, Abhishek Soni, iMAD Research was built on the principles of hard work, integrity, and respect. His drive and determination to help create the premier global B2B research provider made iMAD Research Company a very special place to work and a company to be proud of. Kartik was an incredibly kind and generous person - and a fiercely loyal friend. He was also a well-respected and admired figure within the market research community. Everything that iMAD Research achieves going forward will be a tribute to his efforts. While his loss is deeply felt, we honor Kartik by upholding his values as we move forward together.

This collage sums up 2025 in the best way! This year was not about noise. It was about quiet, consistent progress. Over the months, we partnered with existing and new clients who placed confidence in our thinking, not just our delivery. Each engagement reminded us that credibility is earned repeatedly, never assumed. We stepped into new events and forums, not chasing visibility, but conversations that challenge assumptions. Listening, I’ve realised, is still the most underrated leadership skill. And, relationships still outperform presentations. Behind the curtains, we welcomed new partners and collaborators, who aligned with our values, not just our SOPs. Scale without alignment is fragile. Our team grew not rapidly, but responsibly. New team members brought fresh thinking, sharper execution, and renewed energy. Culture doesn’t expand automatically; it has to be protected as it grows. Operationally, we made meaningful strides: * CATI capabilities expanded, strengthening reliability and turnaround. * Qualitative divisions deepened, not just in volume but in depth, nuance, and storytelling. Growth, for us, is not about doing more. It is about doing better. Most importantly, I am deeply grateful: - To clients who challenged us. - To colleagues who stayed committed when things were hard. - To partners who believed before outcomes were visible. - And to the team that kept showing up with integrity, even when applause was absent. Few conferences lead you to conversations that let you be in the moment. The MRS Agency Owners and Leaders conference last week was one such event. The format was refreshing, deeply engaging, deliberately interactive, and thoughtfully designed. So much so… I walked out with hardly any pictures. Hats off to Alison for the amazing hosting and to Danny for the conference closure! Case study presentation by Tom about the transformation of an agency and how the merger of three agencies transformed the brand game and led to their growth story. The session by David on how to make your CS teams commercially brilliant, especially through the movement era schema, was brilliant. The panel discussion by Howard, Charlotte, and Debbie on enhancing employee experience and belonging through smarter talent strategies was insightful, especially for companies planning to scale across different employee sizes. Loved the roundtable experience enabled by David and Yuliya, which sparked ideas and amazing conversations. However, if there’s one moment that stayed with me, it was from the firechat conversation led by Sarah about the Flamingo story with Kirsty and Maggie. Simply a masterclass in courage, clarity, and commercial discipline. Building a vision, nurturing it with consistency, and ultimately scaling it to a point where it sold for £85M is not just a success story… It's a strategic lesson for every leader. Key takeaways for me: - When you build with intent, outcomes follow. - When culture and capability align, growth accelerates. - And when a team believes in a mission, markets take notice.
