  • Conferences shape careers. For graduate students, attending a major symposium means meeting mentors, finding collaborators, and gaining the confidence that comes from presenting work in front of peers. But conference attendance also comes with very real costs — costs that can put it out of reach for many. The IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society C.J. Reddy Travel Grant for Graduate Students helps close that gap. Congratulations to the 2026 recipients! Your research is part of what makes meetings like the AP-S Symposium worth attending. 🔗 Read more: https://lnkd.in/esucPHdM #IEEEDoingGood #OneIEEE

  • 170 years ago today, a child was born in Smiljan, Croatia, who would go on to electrify the modern world. Nikola Tesla's work on alternating current, the induction motor, and wireless transmission didn't just shape an era; It laid the foundation for nearly every electrical system we depend on today. At the IEEE Foundation, his legacy lives on through the Tesla level of our IEEE Heritage Circle, recognizing donors who give US$10,000–$24,999 in support of the programs and ideas that will define the next 170 years. Whose work today will be remembered the way we remember Tesla's? #TechHistory #IEEELegacy #IEEEDoingGood

  • Technology service projects don't run on good intentions alone. They run on people who show up — again and again — with technical skill, patience, and a commitment to community. 🛠️ Congratulations to the recipients of the Excellent EPICS in IEEE Contributor Awards, which recognize team leaders, faculty advisors, student branches, societies, universities, and IEEE sections that have gone above and beyond to support projects and students. EPICS (Engineering Projects in Community Service), a donor-funded program, pairs students with local organizations to solve real community challenges, from accessibility technology to environmental projects. • Calling all IEEE Organizational Units! 📣 The IEEE YP Event Funding program supports OUs hosting events designed for young professionals — and the Cycle 4 application deadline is 15 July. Technical workshop? Networking night? Career development panel? YP Event Funding can help bring it to life. The IEEE Foundation is proud to partner on this initiative, supporting the events where the next generation of IEEE leaders connect, learn, and grow. Don't miss your chance to apply - see the comments for more information. #IEEEDoingGood #OneIEEE IEEE Young Professionals

  • In 2025, the IEEE Foundation continued to advance its mission of bringing the promise of technology, and the knowledge to leverage it, to people around the world. Thanks to the generosity of nearly 7,000 donors, IEEE charitable programs supported education, innovation, and community impact on a global scale. From celebrating IEEE Foundation Day with a focus on Students and Young Professionals to investing in programs that empower future engineers and technologists, 2025 reflected the power of philanthropy to inspire progress and create meaningful change. We are deeply grateful to the donors, volunteers, and partners whose support helps expand opportunity, strengthen communities, and shape the future through technology. #IEEEDoingGood #InnovatingForImpact #AnnualReport

  • What does it take to build the future of wireless? Ana Inês Inácio is helping answer that question through her work designing integrated RF front-end systems that make communication faster, smaller, and more efficient. Working at TNO, she develops the circuits that sit at the core of next-generation wireless systems, enabling everything from sensor networks to emerging 6G technologies. Her work reflects a broader shift in engineering: pushing performance forward while reducing size, power, and complexity. As highlighted in IEEE Spectrum, her contributions combine deep technical expertise with a commitment to advancing innovation in wireless systems and RF sensor technology. Her story is a reminder of how individual engineers are shaping the infrastructure of our connected world. One system, one signal, one breakthrough at a time. Ana recently received the IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) Outstanding Young Professional Award. Well-deserved, this award was given for meritorious service in the interests of humankind as evidenced by her past record and future promise, as well as for outstanding achievements in her chosen profession. #RFEngineering #WomenInEngineering
