Traditional supply chains can't keep pace with the speed and scale the Asia-Pacific space market now demands. At SPACETIDE 2026 in Tokyo, our colleagues from EnduroSat are showing how satellite constellations can be deployed faster, at scale, and with predictable costs — exactly the shift the region's rapid growth is making essential. Catch Simon L. van den Dries (Strategic Partnerships) on the panel "Where do Global Players See Value in the Japanese Space Market" — 9 July, 9:00 AM, Main Hall 2. If you're at SPACETIDE, stop by to talk constellations, deployment, and what predictable-cost scaling really looks like on the ground. #SPACETIDE2026 #NewSpace #Satellites #SpaceIndustry #spaceiscloserthanyouthink #SPACETIDE #Ice2Thrust

🚀 New publication from the #Ice2Thrust team! As in-orbit servicing and autonomous docking become reality, small satellites need to do more than just hold their orientation — they need precise, reliable control in every direction, even if a thruster fails. A new paper presented at SmallSat Europe 2026 introduces a coupled analytical–simulation framework that builds redundancy and real-world dynamics into thruster design from the very first step. The optimised layout achieved a 15.7% reduction in thruster on-time — a meaningful gain in efficiency for future servicing missions. The work establishes a baseline for AOCS hardware development within Ice2Thrust, advancing Water Electrolysis Propulsion as a non-toxic, refillable alternative to conventional systems. 👏Congratulations to the authors from Technical University of Munich - Tom Mrazek, Yasin Kale, Chiara Manfletti and University of Luxembourg - Aman Arora, Matteo El Hariry 🔗 Link in the first comment #SpaceTech #InOrbitServicing #GreenPropulsion #SmallSat

🔧 Behind the scenes: assembling EVE — our vacuum testbench in Ottobrunn Progress doesn't always look like a rocket launch. Sometimes it looks like this — cables, fittings, and a lot of careful hands-on work in the lab. Our team at the Technische Universität München (Sascha Dengler, Leonor Jesus, Tom Mrazek) has been hard at work assembling EVE, our dedicated testbench for coupled electrolyser and thruster operation under vacuum conditions, at our facility in Ottobrunn. This infrastructure is a critical milestone for the Ice2Thrust project — for the first time, it will allow us to test prototypes of our electrolyser alongside both hot- and cold-gas thrusters under conditions representative of the space environment. This is where the physics gets real. ⚗️🔥 Once operational, EVE will bring us a major step closer to the demonstration of the complete Ice2Thrust propulsion chain — from water to thrust — under vacuum conditions. That coupled system test, combining all the technologies we've been developing across the consortium, is now firmly on the horizon. Stay tuned — the countdown to firing has begun. 🚀 #Ice2Thrust #WaterElectrolysis #GreenPropulsion #SpaceTech #VacuumTesting #NewSpace
