🇿🇦 Mandela Day | Small Acts. Lasting Impact. Today, we celebrate the legacy of Nelson Mandela by recognising a simple truth: Real change doesn't happen in a single day. It happens through everyday acts of care, compassion and service. Across South Africa, our Community-Based Organisations, partners, staff and volunteers show us that impact is built one conversation, one family, one young person and one community at a time. Whether you're mentoring a young person, checking in on a neighbour, donating your time, supporting a local organisation or simply choosing kindness, every act matters. This Mandela Day, let's honour Madiba's legacy by continuing to build healthier, safer and more connected communities—not just today, but every day. What will your 67 minutes look like today? Share your plans in the comments. We'd love to hear how you're making a difference. ❤️ #MandelaDay #67Minutes #HIVSA #CommunityImpact #PeopleFirst #StrongerTogether #ServeToChangeLives #Ubuntu

🌟 SEF Success Story | Meet Karabo Mosia As the Social Employment Fund (SEF) programme comes to a close, we're proud to celebrate the young people whose dedication, growth and resilience have left a lasting impact at HIVSA. Today, we're recognising Karabo Mosia, one of our dedicated Choma Champions. During her time with HIVSA, Karabo strengthened her skills in social media content creation, content editing, reporting and digital communications. She also had the opportunity to travel across the province, engaging with Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) and gaining valuable insight into the importance of community-led development. When reflecting on her journey, one statement stood out: "I got to build my confidence." While technical skills are important, confidence is often what empowers young people to apply those skills, embrace new opportunities and take meaningful steps towards their future careers. At HIVSA, we believe programmes like the Social Employment Fund are about more than work experience—they are about investing in the confidence, capabilities and potential of South Africa's youth. Thank you, Karabo, for your commitment, enthusiasm and contribution to our team. We wish you every success as you embark on the next chapter of your journey. #HIVSA #SocialEmploymentFund #SEF #YouthEmployment #SkillsDevelopment #YouthEmpowerment #CapacityBuilding #Choma #CommunityDevelopment #FutureLeaders

🏳️🌈 As Pride Month comes to a close, our commitment to inclusion continues. Pride is more than a celebration—it's a reminder that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and compassion, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. At HIVSA, we believe that equitable access to healthcare, accurate information and supportive communities are fundamental human rights. We remain committed to creating spaces where people feel safe to seek care, ask questions and access the services they need without fear of stigma or discrimination. As we reflect on Pride Month, we celebrate the resilience, diversity and contributions of LGBTQIA+ communities, while recognising that there is still work to be done to ensure health equity and social inclusion for all. Because healthier communities are built when everyone belongs. 🏳️🌈 Happy Pride Month from all of us at HIVSA. #PrideMonth #HealthEquity #Inclusion #HumanRights #LGBTQIA #EndStigma #HIVSA #CommunityHealth
