Every heart is different, but one thing many of them benefit from is regular movement❤️ You don't have to run a marathon or spend hours in the gym to make a difference. Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood, gardening, dancing in your kitchen, or playing with your kids, moving your body can help lower blood pressure, improve circulation, strengthen your heart, and support your overall health. Movement isn't about being perfect, and it isn't a cure for every heart condition. It's simply one of the many ways you can support your heart and your health over time. Your heart shows up for you every single day. Showing up for it one step at a time can make a difference ❤️

It’s getting hot in here ! 🌞 The UK is in its third heatwave of the year. UKHSA has an amber heat-health alert in place with the Met Office forecasting 32–35°C in parts of southern England this week 🥵 What's less discussed than sunburn and hosepipe bans, heat puts real strain on the heart. The British Heart Foundation has warned that in hot weather, blood vessels dilate and blood pressure can drop, while the heart works harder to keep the body cool — a combination that raises the risk of complications, including cardiac arrest, particularly for people with existing heart conditions, older employees, and anyone working outdoors. Most UK workplace safety plans still treat a defibrillator as something fixed to a wall in reception. But heat-related cardiac risk doesn't stay in the building — it follows people onto building sites, delivery rounds, warehouse floors without air conditioning, and outdoor events and fetes running through this spell of hot weather. An AED that only exists in one location doesn't help when the risk has moved with your people. Elliot AED was built to be where it needs to be when its needed in a van, a site bag, an event kit so a defibrillator is close by wherever the working day takes your team, not just at a fixed address. With the Met Office and UKHSA both flagging more heatwaves through the summer, it's a reasonable moment for UK employers to check whether their emergency equipment is as mobile as their workforce. #Elliot #cardiacarrest #Hot #WorkplaceSafety #HeatwaveUK #EmergencyPreparedness #HeartHero HeartHero, Inc. Think you need years of medical experience to save a life? Think again 🚁 Saving a life isn't about decades of experience. It's about having the confidence to act 💪 HeartHero's Elliot is designed for everyday people because when sudden cardiac arrest happens, the first person there is usually a bystander, not a healthcare professional. The best time to build that confidence is BEFORE an emergency happens. Learn the skills, know what to do, and be ready to step in when every second counts.

Reflecting on a fantastic week at the The Blue Light Show 🚑 It was great to have James Russell representing HeartHero, meeting with emergency services professionals and strengthening relationships throughout the event. Every conversation helps raise awareness about sudden cardiac arrest and the importance of quick access to an AED 💪

You can run marathons. You can work out every day. You can eat healthy. None of those things make you an exception to sudden cardiac arrest 👀 While some people have known risk factors, others have no idea they’re at risk until the unthinkable happens. You don’t know you’ll need an AED until you do 🚑

A few years ago, I first met Frank Pangallo while supporting his campaign to introduce legislation making AEDs mandatory in public buildings, government facilities and prescribed vehicles across South Australia. From day one, it was clear Frank’s passion wasn’t about politics - it was about saving lives. His work helped make South Australia the first state to pass landmark AED legislation, putting thousands more life-saving defibrillators where they’re needed most. Today, I’m proud to announce that Frank is joining forces with us at Elliot AED. The legislation was a huge step forward. But most sudden cardiac arrests happen outside hospitals, many in the home. That’s why we brought Elliot to Australia. Elliot is the bridge between mandated public access AEDs and everyday life- lightweight, simple to use, and designed to go wherever life takes you. I’m thrilled to have someone with Frank’s passion and commitment join our mission. Together, we’ll work to get more Elliot AEDs into homes, communities, sporting clubs and businesses across Australia. #elliotaed #hearthero

Sudden cardiac arrest doesn't wait for you to find help. That's why we built Elliot at just 680g it's one of the lightest AEDs on the market, small enough to keep in your car, at home, or on the job, so it's there in the moments that matter most. One pull deploys the pads. Elliot reads the heart rhythm and delivers a shock if needed — no training required. Pair it with the HeartHero app to track battery life, pad status, and device location, so you always know your AED is ready. 📱 Download the app: https://lnkd.in/esvxDPvZ 🌐 Learn more and get Elliot: https://www.hearthero.com #CardiacArrest #AED #HeartHero #LifeSavingTech HeartHero, Inc.
