📣 Dads at Baby & Toddler Classes 2026: Our Survey Results Are In Do dads and male carers feel welcome at baby and toddler classes? The good news is that most of the dads we heard from said yes. Many shared positive experiences of attending classes, feeling welcomed by providers, and enjoying valuable bonding time with their children. But our survey also highlighted opportunities for the sector to go even further. From the language we use, to the images we share, to those all-important first interactions, small changes can have a big impact on helping every parent and carer feel like they belong. At Happity, we know baby and toddler classes are about more than activities. They're communities. And when more parents feel comfortable walking through the door, everyone benefits. We've pulled together the key findings, insights and recommendations in our latest report. Read the full survey results here 👇 https://lnkd.in/eY2K7ktm We're keen to hear from both parents and providers: 💬 If you're a dad or male carer, what has your experience of classes been like? 💬 If you run classes, what have you found works well when it comes to making all parents and carers feel welcome? Tell us in the comments.

👇 This is well worth the read (and is something that we already have been championing in our team). Parents aren't lying when they say that having children changed them. Our approach to work adjusts after taking on the responsibilities of a little person who needs your attention nearly 100% of the time. But the misconception is that an employee with children starts slacking. That a working parent is somehow less productive than a non-working parent. This couldn't be further from the truth! Parenthood loads you up with crucial transferable skills that are not only needed in the workplace but also in management. From adaptability to team building and negotiations. We need these skills in our 9-5, but we've learnt them from the moments where we've got a day stuffed full of activities planned, or we're facing down the barrel of a toddler meltdown. We've known this for a while. That's why, when interviewing for new roles in our company, we ask 'give me an example of when...' and explicitly let them know that life experiences 100% count! Especially when an applicant has had a career break. We strongly recommend giving the full report a read. The responses are eye-opening!
The Maternal Strengths Report is now live, and I wish I had this data when I first became a mom. I felt like I was screaming into a void that I was just as capable at doing my job, just as ambitious, just as driven, a better leader. And so with this report, we really wanted to ask a different question than the usual 'cost' of motherhood and losses from the workplace. I wanted to know how much we GAIN from motherhood. How much our capabilities are impacted and shaped by motherhood. And the data did not disappoint. But I was shocked that the skills that mothers reported the greatest increases in were operational leadership skills like time management, negotiation, prioritization, conflict management, and more. If you've ever felt more capable, stronger, or more resilient after becoming a mother...this is for you. For every mother, for every woman. I hope you see yourself in the data and feel just how capable you are. Read the full report: https://lnkd.in/g4rg7Syf

It’s time to stop undervaluing the impact of what classes do. ⭐ People often underestimate the scale of the baby and toddler sector, but the truth is written in the data: baby and toddler classes have the potential to be an international franchise. Providing a seamless space for parents to find support isn't just a local goal—it’s a global necessity. Happity was built to scale alongside baby and toddler classes. We support everything from agile startups to global franchise networks. To the 'mumpreneurs' and visionary owners: your drive is what fuels this industry. "Dads, Grandads and Uncles: Do You Feel Welcome At Baby / Toddler Classes? 💜" We're currently running a survey to find out more about men's experiences when attending baby and toddler classes. Including the good, the bad, and anything in between. We need valuable thoughts and experiences on this very important topic to give feedback to the class providers in the Happity community. You might remember this survey when we ran it last year. If you answered this survey before, we would still love to hear from you to see whether your experiences have changed or not! If this survey doesn't apply to you, but you know someone who may be interested in answering, please forward it on to them. (They might even share the prize with you if they win it.) The survey takes no more than 5 minutes, and to say thank you for your time, you'll be entered into a prize draw where you could win a £25 Amazon voucher. (Deadline - 3rd June 2026) Answer the survey here: https://lnkd.in/ejMUGe2d

Happy Maternal Mental Health Week 💞 We recently sent out a survey to the parents in our community to find out exactly how baby and toddler classes affect parental wellbeing. While we see the magic happen every day, the survey results still stopped us in our tracks. 💜 It’s a powerful reminder that the work we do (providing spaces for parents to connect) is vitally important. Early parenthood can be lonely, and for the thousands of parents searching Happity, these classes are the signpost leading them to a village of like-minded people. Let’s spread the message. Feel free to share our graphics and stats to show just how much these classes matter. Don't forget to tag @happityapp so we can support your post! 💜

So glad to hear how Happity helped theough your mat leave Meera Mawkin ! Best of luck with the return to work!
SeedLegals are committed to a growth mindset - and growing we did. From smiling, to rolling, to sitting, to clapping, to babbling, to crawling. We've nearly done it all, and now it's time to wave Elias off to Nursery & The Grandparents, whilst I start to return to work. After a very busy (and slightly chaotic) 9 months, my maternity leave is coming to an end on Monday. And whilst I will take a bit of annual leave, I am incredibly excited to be returning into new and existing projects with new energy and a hot cup of tea. If we were mid-conversation before I headed off, or if there’s something interesting coming up that you think I should be part of, I’d love to catch up! Pop me a DM and I'll get back to you soon! P.S a big shoutout to SeedLegals Awards 2025 Captivating Mission Semi-Finalist Happity for guiding me through my Mat Leave!

BIG NEWS from Happity 🚀 Our first out-of-home campaign is now live. A few weeks ago, our debut digital billboards went up in Birmingham. A major milestone as we start scaling awareness of baby & toddler classes across the UK. And this is just the beginning of a wider OOH rollout. This isn’t just about visibility though, it’s about impact. Every impression helps us move closer to our mission: making sure no new parent feels alone, by helping them find local classes and communities more easily. We’re particularly excited about what this means from a growth and partnership perspective: • Reaching more parents, right where they are • Scaling brand awareness nationally • Opening up new partnership opportunities across the family space More locations. More formats. More momentum ahead. If you’re interested in partnering or learning more about what we’re building, we’d love to connect. #Happity #StartupGrowth #OOHAdvertising #ParentingSupport #EarlyYears #UKStartups
