She began as a Third Key Holder at our Spartanburg store and quickly worked her way into a management role. Last year, she was promoted to our corporate office, where she has continued to excel in Operations. She enjoys being part of a family-operated company that continues to grow and adapt. As Melody puts it, every day is a new adventure! Some of her most meaningful memories at Hamrick’s come from seeing teams work together during the busy Christmas season to support one another and make the holidays a success. Her advice to associates hoping to grow their careers is to view every day as an opportunity to learn. 🏆 Hamrick's Hall of Fame Today we're honored to welcome Chad Chastain into the Hamrick's Hall of Fame as we celebrate an incredible milestone—30 years with Hamrick's! 🎉 Chad began his Hamrick's journey on March 11, 1996, as an Assistant Manager in our Fort Oglethorpe store. He was promoted to Store Manager, where he continues to lead with dedication, integrity, and a commitment to both his team and customers. Reflecting on 30 years with Hamrick's, Chad shared: "Thirty years at Hamrick's has given me a lifetime of memories, friendships, outstanding co-workers, and opportunities for personal growth. Reaching this milestone is something I'm profoundly grateful for, and I'm looking forward to what lies ahead." One of Chad's proudest moments has been seeing his son join the Hamrick's team. As the parent of a son with autism, Chad shared how meaningful it has been to watch him thrive in a workplace that embraced his strengths and provided the support he needed to succeed. After three decades, Chad has also become a familiar face in his community, often recognized by customers long after they've left the store—a reflection of the lasting relationships he's built throughout his career. Since joining the company as a Merchandise Assistant in 2023, she has advanced to Assistant Buyer and now Buyer for Ladies' Apparel, specializing in Special Sizes. This progression didn't come easy. Lauren gained hands-on experience across many areas of the business, building the knowledge and skills that helped her grow into the Buyer she is today. Her journey has deepened her understanding of both customer satisfaction and business performance. She doesn't just "buy products"—Lauren helps connect our customers with the styles they want. Memorial Day weekend is here, and for many, that means a three-day weekend, cookouts, and the unofficial start of summer. But Memorial Day is about much more than that. It’s a time to honor the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who gave their lives defending the freedoms we enjoy every day. Since 1776, more than one million American service members have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Before you head out to enjoy the long weekend, we hope you’ll take a moment to reflect on those who gave everything for our freedom — and those who returned home carrying both visible and invisible wounds. Thank you to all the brave men and women who sacrificed so much for our nation. Today, we remember and honor those who gave everything for our freedom.

Over $1 million in online revenue. 13,500+ orders shipped. And it all started with a small team building Hamrick’s e-commerce presence from the ground up. Three years ago, Hamrick’s stepped into e-commerce with the launch of shophamricks.com — giving customers the ability to shop their favorite finds from home. Today, our E-Commerce team helps power everything from product photography and merchandising to fulfillment, shipping, and customer experience. And honestly? Our e-commerce operation is basically its own Hamrick’s store — just without the storefront. Karen Coyle recently stepped into the newly created role of E-Commerce Manager, where she’ll help lead the continued growth of Hamrick’s online presence and customer experience. Haley Applegarth says one of the most rewarding parts of working in e-commerce has been watching the department grow while helping showcase Hamrick’s products in creative ways. Daniela Rosabal says being part of the team feels like “leading a whole new era of Hamrick’s” and being part of the company’s evolving history. And we’re still growing!
