Galas and auctions involve countless moving parts: Guest lists. Seating charts. Bidder accounts. Check-in. Paddle assignment. Payments. Managing each of these workflows is one thing. Keeping them connected is another. That's why we built the new haku Raise, bringing ticketing, guest management, seating, auctions, check-in, and payments together in one connected workflow. The result? Less time spent managing logistics and more time focused on your guests, your donors, and your fundraising goals. Want to see it in action? Join us Thursday, July 23 at 2:00 PM ET (11:00 AM PT) for a live walkthrough of the new haku Raise and discover how connected workflows can help your team simplify event day and create a more efficient experience from ticket purchase through event night and beyond. 👉 Save your spot: https://hubs.li/Q04pNWBN0

No matter what type of event or organization we're supporting, haku has always been guided by the same philosophy: Technology should reduce operational complexity, make it easier to create exceptional experiences and engagement, and ultimately help organizations grow revenue. That's why I'm excited to announce the launch of haku Raise, our new solution for nonprofit auctions and galas. Built as part of the haku platform, haku Raise helps nonprofits quell the chaos of event logistics so non-profit teams can focus on stewardship and fundraising. With haku Raise, non-profits can: • Streamline every part of their event with connected ticketing, check-in, bidding, payments, reporting, and more. • Reduce administrative work so teams can focus on donors instead of logistics. • Create a seamless guest experience from ticket purchase through event night and beyond. • Gain complete visibility into event performance and clearly communicate fundraising ROI to stakeholders. This launch is another exciting step in our mission to help our customers spend less time managing technology and more time building relationships that fuel their impact. If you'd like to see haku Raise in action, join us for our live product launch webinar on July 23, where Product Manager Ted Civetti will walk through the platform and answer questions. As endurance events become more complex, organizers are managing more data, more participants, and higher expectations than ever before. Many organizations are using AI, but they're missing out on its ability to identify trends, surface actionable insights, and help teams spend less time reacting and more time creating exceptional participant experiences. In our latest article, Jackie Levi, haku's Chief Strategy Officer, shares how operational AI is helping event organizers work smarter behind the scenes so they can focus on delivering outstanding race-day experiences. Only about 11 minutes to go!
Retention matters most when demand is strong. When registrations are growing and start lines are filling, it is easy to focus only on numbers. But the real question is: will participants come back? Looking forward to today’s webinar by haku with Jackie Levi and the Track Shack team on why community, loyalty and participant experience are key to long-term event growth. 📅 Today – Wednesday, 8 July 🕚 11:00 AM ET / 17:00 CEST Register here: https://lnkd.in/dRcJ3dXR

While sponsorships help fund your event, community support is what makes it memorable. The coffee shop that opens early for runners or the hotel that offers a special late check out on race day both have a positive impact on your participant experience, even if they aren’t financially supporting you. In our latest article, we explore why the most successful endurance events build partnerships that go beyond traditional sponsorships and how those relationships create experiences participants want to return to year after year. Your race participants are so much more than registrations to process for a single fundraising event. When runners feel connected to your organization, your staff, and one another, they're more likely to raise more and become true teammates in advancing your mission! The P2PForum26 Endurance & Challenge Summit explored how you can create the kinds of experiences that keep runners coming back year after year. ✅ Kelly Lamb of Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation shared how intentional applications, personalized coaching, and setting expectations beyond fundraising minimums help identify participants who are ready to become long-term champions for your mission. 💬 Brittany Minke of Muscular Dystrophy Association showed how creating community through race weekend, consistent communication, and mission-centered storytelling keeps runners engaged and eager to return. 🏃 Alexander Egan of New York Road Runners challenged attendees to think beyond marquee races by expanding into regional events, year-round engagement, and stronger cross-functional partnerships. Race day may be the milestone participants remember most, but it's everything P2P professionals do around it that keeps them coming back. Thank you to haku for sponsoring the Endurance & Challenge Summit and to Jackie Levi for moderating. If you'd like to be part of conversations like this, save the date for P2PForum27, February 22–24, 2027! https://lnkd.in/er9gM4U7 #P2PForum26 #TeamP2P #PeerToPeerFundraising #P2PFundraising #NonprofitLeadership #FundraisingStrategy

The running industry is buzzing about the boom. Demand is higher than it's been in years. Events are selling out. Participation is growing. It's an exciting time to be in endurance sports. But here's my take: The worst time to start thinking about retention is when registrations begin to slow down. That's why retention and loyalty strategies are so urgent right now and not after the boom. When demand is strong, it's easy to overlook retention because acquisition feels effortless. But growth cycles don't last forever. The events that emerge strongest from the next market shift won't be the ones that attracted the most participants during the boom. They'll be the ones that turned participants into loyal community members. Demand and loyalty are not the same thing. On July 8 at 11:00 AM ET, I'll be joined by Jon Hughes, Betsy Hughes, and Chris Hughes from Track Shack to discuss why retention may be the highest-leverage investment event organizers can make while the industry is thriving. We'll cover: 🏃 Why retention matters most when demand is strongest 🏅 Why loyalty is often a more sustainable growth strategy than acquisition alone 🎉 How community transforms transactions into lasting relationships 📈 How loyalty shows up in measurable behaviors and repeat participation Track Shack has spent decades building one of the strongest running communities in the country, and I'm looking forward to learning from and sharing this conversation with all of you. Why should you bother with retention when your demand is already strong enough that you're selling out or nearly selling out each race? To answer that question haku's Chief Strategy Officer, Jaclyn L. , along with Jon, Betsy, and Chris Hughes, from Track Shack are hosting "Retention Matters Most When Your Demand is Strongest", our webinar coming up on July 8th at 11:00AM ET. In the webinar they'll discuss: 🏃Why you should invest in retention while the industry is thriving 🏅Why retention is the highest-impact growth strategy 🎉How community turns transactions into relationships 👔How loyalty shows up in measurable behaviors and repeated processes Register now!
