When it comes to workforce AI transformation, I keep seeing the same pattern across client work... A company deploys AI ⬇️ Adoption initially goes up ⬇️ Leadership declares progress (or victory!) ⬇️ A year later, progress has flattened because the AI is running on the same workflow it always was, just faster. In the end, the technology worked, but the legacy system(s) didn't change. That’s why I use a diagnostic lens to classify the type of AI work an organization is actually doing before deciding what comes next. It ultimately boils down to three options: > Paving cow path: Making the existing route faster, smoother. > Building a suspension bridge: Finding a shorter path, eliminate steps, rethink the sequence. > Building an aqueduct: Not just moving water more efficiently, but selling access (read: new revenue streams) to that water as well. (Spoiler: Most leaders are paving. A few are building bridges. Almost no one is asking the aqueduct question.) I partnered with Guild to explain what this framework means and how it puts a new lens on AI transformation. Learn more about why these systems resist change, what redesign looks like, and how to make more aqueducts in your organization: https://lnkd.in/eVuyDKHx

Today we're celebrating the fact that we're just two short years away from LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games! Team USA athletes show us what it takes to commit fully: to their sport, their goals, and their future. Through Guild, they can pursue education and in-demand skills while competing at the highest level. And the same access that supports athletes is helping today's workforce prepare for what comes next. As a Proud Supporter, we'll be cheering for Team USA every step of the way toward the LA28 Games. 🏅

“I am leaving my mark on my team." That's Dominique G., a Product Manager who six months ago knew nothing about AI. Today she's heading up an internal AI subgroup, running pitch sessions for new ideas to take to market, and changing how her entire organization thinks about what's possible. It started with one decision to lean on her Guild benefit and earn an AI Certificate. What if you had a workforce full of Dominiques? Every AI productivity goal has two parts: the technology and the people using it. While the technology side gets most of the attention, Dari is proof of what happens when you invest in the other side, too. When Love's Travel Stops set a company-wide productivity goal, Dari didn't start with a new platform or a new workflow. She used her Guild benefit to build the skills and confidence to apply AI in her day-to-day work. Five months later, she had surpassed the goal. "My journey with AI has gone from using it zero prior to the course, to truly using it daily in producing value, substantially by 20% or more." What if you had a workforce full of Daris? Tiffany D. grew up in a town where the careers she dreamed of simply didn't exist. Still, she was determined to change that. Hers is a story of defining a personal definition of the American Dream and going after it. 🇺🇸 From working the plant floor to becoming a data engineer II, Tiffany's path ran through the military, single motherhood, and years of figuring it out. College was never in the cards. Then her employer offered a Guild benefit and fourteen days into her new role, she was enrolled. With the help of school, she automated a work process for fun using skills from her Guild program and got promoted. "I grew up in generational poverty. Jobs that make the salary I make currently, you can't find those where I'm from. I would've never had this opportunity had it not been for my employer, for Guild." 8 in 10 surveyed Guild learners feel more confident in themselves and their skills as a result of being enrolled in a Guild program. The American Dream has always lived in places like where Tiffany grew up. What their dreams needed was the infrastructure to make them possible. #CareerMobility #WorkforceDevelopment #USA250 #AmericanDream

Five years ago, Ridgoberto wouldn't have believed higher education was within reach. Today he has a Bachelor's, a Certificate, and a Master's in progress. All tuition-free. What he needed was a real path forward. When his manager told him he could earn his degree through his employer's Guild benefit, something clicked. He enrolled and never looked back. "If you had asked me five years ago if this is where I'd be today, I don't know if I would have believed you." His story is what happens when the right pieces align: an employer investing in their workforce, debt removed as a barrier, and a clear path built for people ready to walk it. 250 years in, the American Dream is being written by people like Ridgoberto. Still, it has always required builders: the employers, institutions, and partners willing to pave the path so individuals can turn their dreams into realities. #CareerMobility #WorkforceDevelopment #USA250 #AmericanDream
