The deal closes a chapter that began in 2013, and gives Portel the backing of a global group to keep growing. Reliability, traceability, and safety aren't optional features. They're the baseline. The systems we develop for environments like fusion facilities must operate under conditions where conventional software simply wouldn't survive. But beyond the technical challenge, there's a bigger message: this field is actively looking for talent. Software engineering, control systems, automation, cybersecurity, system integration, robotics the demand is growing, and the career paths are real. The skills needed? A solid technical foundation, continuous learning, and hands-on experience in multidisciplinary projects. That combination is what makes great engineers in this sector.
