According to the latest results from 𝗧𝗚𝗜 𝗯𝘆 Grupo Marktest, ownership of kitchen robots in Portugal continues to grow and has reached its 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲. 📊 Data from the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲 shows that 𝟮𝟬.𝟳% 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹 (𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝟭𝟱–𝟳𝟰) now report having a kitchen robot at home — the equivalent of 𝟭.𝟱𝟰 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀. But adoption is not uniform across the population: ➡️ Ownership peaks among 35–44 year‑olds, where it reaches 27.3% ➡️ Rates are above average in Greater Lisbon and Greater Porto ➡️ Social class plays a decisive role, with ownership levels in higher social classes almost doubling those of lower ones These differences highlight how socio‑demographic and economic factors continue to shape the adoption of domestic technology — valuable insight for brands, marketers and strategists operating in this category.
