Behind every successful project is a crew that’s well connected. Our recent team catch-up was a great chance to recharge the batteries, share a few laughs and celebrate the people who power Global Cabling every day. We’re big believers that looking after our people is just as important as delivering quality work - because strong camaraderie on site creates stronger outcomes for our clients. You could say Harry's career is now fully wired for success. After four years of dedication, hard work and plenty of hands-on learning, Harry has officially completed his electrical apprenticeship with Global Cabling. From day one, Harry has embraced every opportunity to learn, earning a reputation for his positive attitude, commitment to quality and willingness to get stuck in. It's no surprise that his talent has already been recognised through a nomination in the NECA Awards. Reaching this milestone is something to be incredibly proud of, but we know it's only the beginning. Congratulations, Harry. We can't wait to see where your career takes you next as you continue to learn, develop and grow with the Global team. The future is looking bright.

🌟25 years with Global 🌟 Finance Manager Kate Francesca joined the business in 2001 as a 20-year-old receptionist, just as Global was finding its feet - six months into its first office. From those early days, with a small team and big ambition, Kate has been part of the journey every step of the way. Five years in, she stepped into a financial role and has since played a key part in supporting the growth of the business behind the scenes. But Kate’s impact goes far beyond her role. Over 25 years, she’s built a family, helped build a business, and contributed to the culture that defines who we are today. When asked why she’s stayed so long, the answer is simple - the people. A workplace that feels like family, shared values, and genuine care for one another. Kate, thank you for your loyalty, your contribution, and everything you’ve given to Global over the past 25 years. You are a huge part of our story.

Global Cabling WA Pty Ltd reposted this
Thirty years ago, Global Cabling was built on hard work, strong relationships and a commitment to doing things properly. Today, that same business is still family at heart. This photo says it all - our Director Allan with his daughter 30 years ago, and now with his granddaughter Luna as we celebrate 30 years of Global Cabling. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a trusted provider of electrical, communications, security, fire detection and technology solutions across Western Australia, delivering projects in some of the state’s most critical industries - from health and education to mining and infrastructure. While a lot has changed over three decades, what hasn’t changed is our commitment to quality, safety and the people behind the business. Many of our team have been part of the journey for years, helping shape the culture and reputation we’re proud of today. To our clients, partners and team - thank you for being part of the story so far. 30 years down. The next chapter starts now.

Some projects test your systems. Others test your people. Block D at Royal Perth Hospital tested both. Working inside a live hospital environment, Global Cabling delivered critical electrical and data upgrades without disrupting clinical operations - where downtime simply isn’t an option. The challenges were real: • Active healthcare environment • Strict safety and infection control protocols • Integration with existing infrastructure • High compliance and quality expectations So how did we overcome them? We leaned into what we do best: ✔ Detailed staging and planning ✔ Tight coordination with hospital stakeholders ✔ ISO-certified quality and safety systems ✔ A team that understands healthcare environments The result? Seamless delivery, strengthened client trust, and recognition at the NECA Awards - at both State and National level. But awards aren’t the headline. The real value we add is certainty - certainty that even in high-risk, high-compliance environments, Global delivers safely, professionally and without disruption. That’s not luck. That’s process, experience and people.

Celebrating 5 years with Global Cabling - Helen As our Operations Coordinator, Helen plays a critical role behind the scenes, managing procurement, coordinating subcontractors, securing permits, and keeping our schedules running on track. Quite simply, she’s the glue that holds it all together. But beyond the logistics, Helen brings something just as important to our business - energy. Her positivity, humour and unmistakable laugh have a way of lifting the whole team, even on the busiest days. Thank you for everything you do, Helen - we’re lucky to have you.

Not every project comes with a view like this. Our work continues to take us to some of the most unique and remote locations across Australia - including Christmas Island. While we can’t share the details of this particular project, what we can share is the experience - working in environments that are as challenging as they are rewarding, and delivering the same high standards no matter where the job takes us. A special thanks to our Estimating Manager Kailian for capturing these moments - an awesome reminder of the incredible places this industry takes us.

Project Flashback | Royal Perth Hospital – Ward 2K Some projects stay with you - not because they were easy, but because they prove what you’re capable of. Our delivery of the electrical work at the 20-bed Mental Health Unit at Royal Perth Hospital was one of them. Over 12 months, working inside a fully operational hospital, Global delivered the complete electrical and communications scope, including: ⚡ Power & architectural lighting 🔌 Essential & non-essential switchboards + UPS 💻 Cat 6 data & fibre backbone 📹 CCTV & access control 🔔 Nurse Call 🚨 Dry fire services. Working within a fully anti-ligature environment - every fitting and fixture had to meet strict mental health safety standards. Renovating and upgrading existing infrastructure inside a live hospital requires more than technical expertise. It demands staging precision, compliance discipline and absolute respect for clinical operations. Projects like Ward 2K demonstrate Global’s capability in complex health infrastructure - delivering resilient, compliant and future-ready systems in environments where there is zero tolerance for disruption. Healthcare isn’t just another sector for us. It’s a capability we’ve proven. #theglobalway #HealthInfrastructure #GlobalCapability DEVLYN CONSTRUCTION

Strong partnerships aren’t built overnight - they’re built on performance, trust and consistency. For the past eight years, Global has proudly partnered with Water Corporation, supporting critical infrastructure across Western Australia. Our work has included delivery at their Leederville Head Office, and more recently, expansion into regional WA - completing switchboard upgrades at Northam and Narrogin branches to enhance resilience and operational reliability. On of our most challenging projects was the delivery of a major Network Infrastructure Modernisation Project, upgrading data infrastructure across 63 sites statewide. At peak, a dedicated team of six worked across metro and regional locations to ensure seamless rollout with minimal operational disruption. This partnership reflects what we do best: - Electrical infrastructure upgrades - Critical switchboard works - Large-scale data modernisation - Metro and regional capability Proud to play a role in keeping WA's water running. #theglobalway #WAProjects #ElectricalContractor #customercentric
