This spring’s Full Plates, Zero Waste Campaign came to a powerful close, driven by the generosity of our Guests, the dedication of our Team Members, and the support of our community partners.     Together, we raised an incredible $2.2 million, surpassing our goal and helping provide more than 7.7 million meals for neighbors facing hunger across the communities we serve.    We’re proud of this collective impact and grateful to everyone who showed up to make a difference, because we’re here for better. 💛

This PTSD Awareness Month, we’re proud to partner once again with Talking Rain Beverage Co®, makers of Sparkling Ice and K9s For Warriors to sponsor the training of a service dog for a U.S. military veteran. Service dogs play a life-changing role for veterans living with PTSD, TBI and other invisible wounds - helping restore confidence, independence and everyday ease. Through this partnership, we’re continuing our commitment to making a meaningful impact for those who have served. This year, Giant Eagle shoppers can be part of the journey by helping name the service dog in training - choosing between Berry, Birdy or Sparky - during their next in-store visit. Together, we’re raising awareness, supporting veterans and helping transform lives - one service dog at a time! 🐾

We’re excited to welcome our 2026 Intern Development Program class! 🎉  This talented group kicked off their journey by getting to know Giant Eagle by touring our Supermarkets and Retail Support Centers while building connections and gaining a deeper understanding of our business.
