What if individuals newly diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes had the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research that could change the future of T1D treatment? GentiBio is actively enrolling participants in the POLARIS Study, a clinical trial designed to investigate a potential approach to slowing or stopping the progression of T1D. In this video, Kristin Neff, VP of Clinical Operations at GentiBio, shares why this study is close to her heart. Living with Type 1 Diabetes for over three decades, Kristin understands the challenges faced by patients and families, making her perspective on this research especially powerful. We invite you to watch the video, learn more about the POLARIS Study, and help us spread awareness. GentiBio reposted this
Have you been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the past 6 months, and between ages 18-55? If so, you may be eligible to participate in the POLARIS Study and help shape the future of type 1 diabetes care. The POLARIS Study is investigating whether a cell therapy that targets the root cause of type 1 diabetes can help restore immune balance and preserve insulin production. This one-time treatment is made from the person’s own cells and designed to interrupt the autoimmune imbalance that drives disease progression. Individuals newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (within the past 6 months) may be eligible to participate in the clinical trial and will be screened to determine whether they carry the specific genes required for the study. If you’re interested, visit https://lnkd.in/gau8ZiFe to learn more and find a study site near you. The POLARIS Study is being conducted at several locations throughout the US, but travel assistance may be provided. You’re not alone. Your journey could help rewrite the future of type 1 diabetes for you and for others!
