What if the biggest challenge facing decentralized energy isn't generation—it's storage? As demand for resilient power grows—from AI data centers and industrial facilities to microgrids and transportation networks—the challenge is no longer just producing clean energy. It's storing large amounts of energy efficiently and delivering it where and when it's needed. Controlled liquid hydrogen storage has the potential to change that. By enabling long-duration, high-density energy storage while minimizing hydrogen losses, liquid hydrogen can serve as a strategic energy reserve and help unlock more resilient, distributed energy systems. In a new article published in North American Clean Energy, GenH2 explores why controlled liquid hydrogen storage could become the backbone of decentralized energy and why efficient storage infrastructure may be one of the missing pieces in scaling the hydrogen economy. The article, authored by GenH2 CEO Greg Gosnell, examines: ⚡ Why long-duration energy storage is essential for decentralized power systems ❄️ How minimizing hydrogen losses can improve economics and efficiency 🔋 The role of liquid hydrogen in enhancing energy resilience and reliability 🌎 Why storage infrastructure is critical to accelerating hydrogen adoption Read the full article: https://bit.ly/4eVpaeK Do you see liquid hydrogen becoming a key enabler of decentralized energy systems? #Hydrogen #LiquidHydrogen #EnergyStorage #LongDurationEnergyStorage #DecentralizedEnergy #HydrogenInfrastructure #Microgrids #DataCenters #EnergyTransition #CleanEnergy #GenH2 #Path2Hydrogen

Excellent explainer on the importance of PREVENTION of liquid hydrogen boil-off. If you are merely attempting to capture the gas after the boil-off has happened, you are already losing … GenH2’s Controlled Storage solves liquid hydrogen losses #GenH2 #liquidhydrogen #LH2

🚨 What if up to 30% of your hydrogen could be lost before it ever reaches the end user? The challenge may be even greater in some applications. In a recent webinar, the Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) cited average losses of 25–50% for transit agencies, highlighting the significant impact that storage, transfer, and dispensing losses can have on operating costs. Hydrogen losses aren't just operational inefficiencies—they directly affect project costs, system performance, and the scalability of hydrogen infrastructure. In this short explainer video, you'll learn: 🔹 Where hydrogen losses occur 🔹 Why systems experience boil-off and venting 🔹 The real cost of lost hydrogen 🔹 How to preserve product and reduce costs The future of hydrogen depends on managing the molecule, and GenH2 is here to help. 🎥 Watch the video: https://bit.ly/4e3WGQT #Hydrogen #LiquidHydrogen #HydrogenTechnology #HydrogenStorage #EnergyTransition #CleanEnergy #GenH2 #Path2Hydrogen

⚡Reliability is becoming the new sustainability. As power demand grows, what will matter more: how much energy we produce or how reliably we can access it when needed?** As energy systems become more complex and demand continues to rise, organizations are placing greater emphasis on one critical question: Will the energy be available when we need it? For data centers, transportation networks, industrial facilities, ports, and airports, resilience is about more than backup power. It's about ensuring energy remains available during peak demand, disruptions, extreme weather events, and changing grid conditions. This is one reason hydrogen is gaining attention as part of the future energy mix. Its ability to store energy for extended periods offers new opportunities to strengthen energy security and operational resilience. As organizations plan for the future, reliability, resilience, and energy availability may become just as important as decarbonization. **How is your organization thinking about energy availability and resilience as energy demands continue to rise? #Hydrogen #EnergyStorage #EnergyResilience #CleanEnergy #GenH2 #Path2Hydrogen
