About us
Gamdan Optics was founded by Dr. Sitai Lin, a veteran crystal grower, and was officially incorporated in 2006 primarily to grow LBO in the US. Since then, we have focused on delivering super low absorption optical crystals with UV-grade super-polished surfaces and high damage threshold coatings to achieve the highest lifetime and stability for the most demanding OEM applications world-wide. GAMDAN's mission is to enable high power visible and UV generation by consistently delivering top quality nonlinear optical materials, meeting or exceeding all customer specifications. We understand the complexity and the critical nature of the materials that we handle. Our promise is to deliver reliable, best-performing parts at a competitive price. With absolute focus on the most demanding applications, we have developed solutions specifically to excel in high peak and average power densities, deep into the UV. We supply the highest quality LBO, BBO, KTP and ND:YVO4 nonlinear crystals for a variety of uses. Of our products our best sellers are LBO crystals and BBO crystals. They have a wide range of uses and provide high quality performance during the application process. Gamdan LBO crystals possess a high threshold for laser damage and have exceptional physical properties which makes them a great choice for green-blue UV conversion and fiber lasers. LBO crystals also have the highest power density which reduces the likelihood of surface damages and distorted beams. In order to consistently deliver top quality parts, GAMDAN has established a Quality and Traceability system based on FDA and ISO guidelines. All products are tracked internally from synthesis to packaging. All fabrication procedures are documented and followed precisely by trained technicians. Documents are tracked internally and handled securely. All shipments come with an inspection report and traceability data. Internal quality control measurements are available upon request.
