About us

FutureOn began with a question: why should energy operators and service companies wait months to design fields when technology could make it happen in weeks? Founded in 2016, we set out to create something different than the traditional tools and isolated workflows. We envisioned a platform where engineering teams could work together in real time, seeing their designs come to life instantly. Today, FieldTwin helps the world’s largest energy companies visualize, design and collaborate on their critical infrastructure projects, from offshore fields to wind farms, all in one unified platform.

  • When work scopes overlap, inspections identify anomalies or asset conditions change, teams need access to information quickly.    That information often exists, but it may be spread across multiple systems, owned by different teams and viewed through different tools.    FieldTwin Operate connects operational information in a visual environment where teams can explore assets, activities and related data in one place.    See how operators are creating a more connected view of offshore operations: https://lnkd.in/eZc9RWE4

  • Field development is shaped by thousands of decisions, many of which are made long before a project reaches execution.    Layout options, routing decisions, equipment selection and cost considerations all influence the final outcome.    FieldTwin Design provides a collaborative environment where teams can evaluate alternatives, visualise field layouts and develop concepts.    🔗 See how engineering teams are streamlining offshore field design: https://lnkd.in/ekuuDkUk

  • 📣 We are pleased to announce a new solution service agreement with SteelTrace to integrate its Smart Manufacturing Records into our FieldTwin platform.    Throughout the lifecycle of an offshore asset, critical information such as material records, weld documentation and inspection data is often stored across multiple systems. Finding the right information at the right time can be time-consuming, particularly during maintenance, integrity management and decommissioning.    By bringing SteelTrace's verified Smart Manufacturing Records directly into FieldTwin, operators and EPCIs will be able to access trusted manufacturing and quality records within a single geospatial workspace, improving traceability and helping teams make faster, more informed decisions.    Read more: https://lnkd.in/ekVqpTdV

  • Critical offshore data sits across engineering systems, inspection records, GIS platforms and operational databases.    But data is most useful when it can be understood in the context of the asset itself, in one integrated visual workspace.    FieldTwin Operate gives teams a connected view of operational information, making it easier to understand assets, activities and potential risks without moving between multiple systems.    Explore how connected operational data supports offshore decision-making: https://lnkd.in/eZc9RWE4

  • In many offshore operations environments, teams still spend a significant amount of time manually connecting information across different systems before they can understand what’s happening in the field.    Inspection records sit in one place, engineering data in another, operational updates somewhere else. Over time, people become used to stitching that context together themselves.    As assets become more complex and operational pressure increases, that approach becomes harder to sustain.    FieldTwin Operate is designed to bring engineering, inspection and operational information together in one geospatial operational environment, helping teams spend less time searching for information and more time acting on it.    🔗 https://lnkd.in/eZc9RWE4

  • Brownfield assets are changing how the offshore industry thinks about digital twins.    There used to be an expectation that operators needed fully complete, perfectly structured datasets before meaningful operational visibility could exist.    In reality, most mature offshore assets contain decades of operational history spread across PDFs, surveys, inspection footage, spreadsheets and disconnected systems.    Find out how you can turn your data into operational clarity with FieldTwin: https://lnkd.in/eZc9RWE4

  • Keeping offshore projects moving usually means coordinating engineering updates, approvals, design changes and operational activities across multiple teams.    In many environments, those workflows are still managed across separate systems and disconnected processes, making visibility harder to maintain as projects evolve.    FieldTwin helps bring those activities back into the field context itself, making it easier for teams to track progress and manage workflows.    Read more 👉 https://lnkd.in/eKcCEnJ5

  • 💡 Offshore teams need visibility across surrounding infrastructure, previous inspections and related operational activity across the field to fully understand any issue that arises.    That broader geospatial context plays an important role in helping teams assess operational impact, prioritise work and respond more effectively.    Find out how you can build your field layouts that automatically match real-world coordinates: https://lnkd.in/ekuuDkUk

  • Offshore wind developments involve large amounts of project, environmental and engineering information long before turbines are installed. From cable routing and seabed surveys through to infrastructure planning and environmental assessments, teams need a clear understanding of how information connects across the development lifecycle. FieldTwin supports offshore wind teams with a configurable platform designed to connect project data, workflows and collaboration from design through to operations and decommissioning. 💨 Find out more about FieldTwin for offshore wind projects: https://lnkd.in/eA9FqwkJ

  • Did you know FieldTwin is designed to integrate with the systems offshore teams already rely on, including GIS platforms, reporting tools and engineering workflows?    We help operational and engineering information stay connected around the field itself, instead of forcing teams to switch constantly between disconnected environments to build context manually.    Integrations are vital for maintaining visibility across engineering, operations and project workflows as projects become more data intensive.    Explore FieldTwin integrations:  https://lnkd.in/evWuyyDh
