One takeaway from Dmitriy Berenzon's latest RWA report really stood out to us: The projects that succeed won't be the ones that tokenize assets; they'll be the ones that build the operational, legal, and reporting infrastructure around them. The future of asset tokenization will be determined by who can operate assets effectively. Asset selection, legal structures, reporting, distributions, liquidity, and operational oversight all matter long after the token is issued. The operational layer is where long-term value is created. Most yield products are built on assumptions. We build on operations. At Fractalized, our asset selection framework starts with a straightforward filter: does this asset generate yield through verifiable economic activity? Not market appreciation. Not token mechanics. Three criteria drive every asset we tokenize. 1- Yield derived from economic activity The asset must earn through freight, power generation, credit deployment, or similar mechanisms. We don’t tokenize value that exists only on paper. 2- Operational complexity as a moat Commercial shipping, private credit, and infrastructure require domain expertise, licensing, and execution networks that take years to build. That complexity helps support the quality and durability of the asset. 3- Exposure to structurally essential industries We focus on sectors the global economy depends on, regardless of market cycles. MT Tulip is the first asset to meet that bar. A chemical tanker on active time charter, currently generating yield for token holders on the Fractalized platform. Live. Auditable. Operational. This is not a proof of concept. It’s a live product. We are now onboarding additional asset classes under the same framework.
