Identify visitors. Understand intent. Prevent fraud.

About us

Fingerprint delivers an immediate, high-resolution view of visitor intent. Our device intelligence platform distinguishes good visitors from bad actors in real time, no matter if they’re human, bots, or agents — giving fraud teams a deeper understanding of their visitors so they can recognize threats and stop attacks fast. We identify over 1 billion unique devices every month. Over 6,000 companies, including innovators like Dropbox, checkout.com, and NeuroID, use Fingerprint every day to recognize high-risk activity in real time, prevent fraud attacks, and deliver frictionless user experiences. We are a globally dispersed, 100% remote company with a strong open-source focus: Our flagship open-source project, FingerprintJS, has 26,000 stars on GitHub. We have raised $77M in funding, and are backed by Craft Ventures, Nexus VP, and Uncorrelated Ventures.

  • Meet the team behind the Fingerprint brand ⚽️ As the World Cup reaches its biggest moment, we’re celebrating an all-star team of our own. Every player brings something essential to the pitch, from protecting the brand and connecting every play to creating new openings and launching what comes next. The strategy may start on the sidelines, but this team brings it to the field. #MatchdayWithFingerprint

  • Ever wonder how a shoe ad follows you from a news site to a recipe blog to a shopping site you've never even visited, like it's been keeping a diary? It's not one clever trick, it's several working together. Third-party cookies, tracking pixels, cookie syncing, bounce tracking, CNAME cloaking. Each one is a different way to smuggle the same identifier across sites you never meant to connect. Full breakdown (and how to protect yourself) on the blog 👇 https://lnkd.in/g67zNaKg

  • Full throttle, all weekend long 🏎️ Our Fingerprint crew (plus some very fast friends) hit Silverstone this weekend for the British Grand Prix and it did not disappoint. F2, F3, Porsche racing, and a Drivers' Parade before the main event even started. Once the checkered flag dropped, we shifted gears into a David Guetta set that carried us past midnight. Turns out the fastest lap of the weekend was the one from Fusion Lounge to the dance floor. 🏁

  • Coachella might be in the rearview, but with festival season in full force, ticketing platforms are facing a familiar problem. The hottest drops attract more than just fans. 🤖 The second tickets go live, bots are ready to move fast, flood queues, and scoop up inventory before real people can even make it to checkout. But aggressively blocking anything that looks automated creates a whole new problem. Frustrated fans, unnecessary friction, and legitimate buyers getting caught in the crossfire. The better question is, can you tell which traffic actually poses a threat? 👉 https://lnkd.in/gVi7JzZ6

  • AI agents are changing how people interact with the web. But as more agents book flights, complete checkouts, and manage accounts on behalf of users, companies need a better way to tell the difference between authorized AI traffic and malicious automation. Join Fingerprint Co-founder and CTO Valentin Vasilyev and Browserbase Founder and CEO Paul Klein IV for a fireside chat on AI agent detection, cryptographic verification, and what it takes to identify trusted traffic with certainty. The ball hits the back of the net. The crowd loses it. You're watching from the Trophy Lounge ⚽ That was the scene this weekend as Fingerprint employees and customers took over the Trophy Lounge at MetLife Stadium for Ecuador vs. Germany and Panama vs. England, with some of the best seats in the house. The rain rolled in during Panama vs. England. Somehow, it only made it better. To everyone who joined us, thank you. And if you missed it, the tournament isn't over yet! #MatchDayWithFingerprint
